Is it better to exchange money in Malaysia?
As with all things, the answer depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re someone who prefers convenience, Singapore has a whole slew of money changers to choose from.
That said, money changers in Malaysia – JB included – do offer comparably higher rates, thanks to the lower operating costs in Malaysia. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that Singapore has a stronger currency, too.
