The bright red installations symbolise remembrance and peace, and fittingly so, considering the exhibit’s location at the former war prison. They’re also a pretty surreal sight to behold if you happen to be in the East. You’ll also find a station where you can DIY your own poppy, and pen down notes for others on a floral-print postcard.

Afterwards, Singaporeans can also enter the museum for free to catch a glimpse into our WWII history.

Beyond the 300 stalls to visit, there are friendly contests to participate in too. There’s a chance you could walk away with $888 in cash when you come out on top in games such as The Beam of Pain that will put your pain tolerance to the test.

Admission: $5 (Weekdays) | $6 (Weekends)
Date: 24th-26th February 2023 | 3rd-5th March 2023
