Guide To Booking A Badminton Court In Singapore – Best Locations & Affordable Courts

Badminton courts Singapore

Badminton kakis would know that the hardest part about the sport is not in itself, but the booking process. You might be playing recreationally, but fighting for a free court is one heck of a competition.

Before you retire the racquet, this guide to booking badminton courts will give you one last shot at dominating the game. Here, we’ll cover all the main booking platforms, useful booking tips, and best courts in Singapore:

– ActiveSG –

ActiveSG courts are perhaps the most popular among shuttlers in Singapore. They have facilities across the island, the most affordable prices, and a free membership that comes with $100 worth of credits.

How to book an ActiveSG badminton court

Upon entering the ActiveSG website, toggle to the top right corner of the screen and click on “Book”. From there, those with accounts will be prompted to log in with their SingPass, email, mobile or NRIC, and new members can sign up for free.

Once you’re in, you’ll be led to a “Book a Facility” page where you can select “Badminton”, a preferred venue, and date from the dropdown bars featured under “Filter Search”. Press search, and a list of slots will appear next, with available timings on the date you chose in black boxes.

However, if no slots appear at all, it probably means that the venue is hosting a full day event that day. For faster results and snappier booking, we recommend downloading the ActiveSG App.

Pro tip: New slots are released at 7am daily, and you can book up to 2 weeks in advance.

– onePA –

OnePA is the platform with the most number of badminton courts, given that they oversee all community centre (CC) bookings. Each CC has at least 1 badminton court available for online booking, while the rest are exclusively over the counter – so that those who are not as digitally savvy have a fighting chance.

So don’t come and pattern more than badminton, and say you can’t book courts anymore. If all else fails, you can always play at your house downstairs one. Good luck, fellow shuttler!
