You’ve probably heard of pretty unique hotels around the world. There’s the glass igloos in Finland, underwater suites in Fiji, and treehouse bungalows in Bali.
Well, guess what? Singapore has its own SBS Transit bus-turned-resort whimsical hotel. Meet The Bus Collective in Changi Village.

Over here, 20 former SBS Transit buses have been outfitted with hotel amenities such as king-sized beds, couches, flatscreen TVs, and bathtubs. At around $198/night, guests will get a compact room that fits up to 4 people, a fully stocked minibar, toiletries, and plenty of time to capture cute content for their feed.

Some rooms come with a bunk bed on top of a regular bed that’ll be perfect for families with kids or a group of friends.

There’s no word on whether there’ll be breakfast or 24/7 room service. However, considering that Changi Village Hawker Centre is a 5-minute walk away from the hotel, a stay here remains a pretty good deal.

A stay on a retired bus that’s bedecked in modern hotel facilities is probably one of the most nostalgic and unique experiences that you’ll ever get.
When you’re not fawning over how cool your room is, you can rent a bike at the GoCycling kiosk onsite for a breezy ride along the coast, set sail from Changi Sailing Club, or explore the historic Changi. The hotel offers several guided tours for guests who’d like to do more than just curl up on their comfy beds.
