1. Man Tao Bar – with infinity pool and liquid buffets

Be sure to bring your swimming costumes when you drop by Man Tao Bar – there’s an infinity pool which offers stunning views of the city and KL tower. Visit on Thursdays for free flow cocktails on Ladies Night. Alternatively, drop by on Fridays for free flow Gin and Saturdays for free flow Sangria at just RM88 ~S$29.20.

Alternatively, order a glass of Tequila (RM25 ~S$8.30) or Red Wine (RM35 ~S$11.62). For bar bites, go for the Mantao Steam Buns on Rice or the Ayam Kunyit Rice Bowl for RM20 (~S$6.64). Man Tao Bar also offers a pool-side BBQ buffet on Sundays from 12pm-3pm at RM100 ~S$33.19 for 2 people.

2. Canopy Lounge by Tiger Bay – shisha bar

Canopy Lounge by Tiger Bay is set amidst high rise buildings and offers an extensive menu of premium shishas priced at (RM90 ~S$29.87) – such as White Gummy Bear, and Pirates Cave which is a blend of flavours like lime and lemon tart.

3. Heli Lounge Bar – sip cocktails on a helipad

Dine on a helipad at Heli Lounge Bar, which offers 360-degree views of the city skyline. Choose from a menu of drinks such as the rum-based Dine In The Air (RM30 ~S$9.96), Hellusion (RM30 ~S$9.96), a concoction of vodka and rum, or Chopper (RM25 ~S$8.30), made of vodka. Alternatively, knock back a pint of Heineken (RM36 ~S$11.95)

4. Sky Bar at Traders – with swimming pool and nightly DJ sets

Step into Sky Bar at Traders and the first thing you’ll notice is the lap pool dominating the centre. Feel free to take a dip while you enjoy music from the nightly DJ performances. Located 33 floors high, Sky Bar offers unobstructed views of the Petronas Towers.

Grab a seat by the floor to ceiling windows and order their Signature Cocktails which are priced at RM 55 (~S$18.25), like Fig Sour, made of walnut and fig-infused bourbon or the East & Zest, a fruity vodka concoction. As for food, try their pizzas which come in large portions, such as Love Veggie (RM55, ~S$18.25) or Seafood Marinara (RM65, ~S$21.57).

5. Fuego at Troika Sky Dining – open-air bar-restaurant

Fuego is an open-air bar-restaurant at Troika Sky Dining offering a wide range of food and cocktails. We recommend dropping by right when it opens at 6pm for views of the sunset. You can choose from small plates like the Grilled King Prawn (RM30, ~S$9.96) or mains such as the Australian Grass Fed Rib-Eye (RM135, ~S$44.80) or Snapper Ceviche (RM 32, ~S$10.62)

6. Roofino Skydining and Bar – glasshouse-style

Roofino Skydining and Bar is a glasshouse-style bar offering outdoor and indoor seating with views of rolling hills. It can get crowded at night, so make a reservation in advance, especially if you prefer to sit outside.

The Swimming Club KL is a newly opened rooftop bar with a swimming pool and neon signages of palm trees and waves that’ll make you feel like you’re in California. Keep your eyes peeled for weekly themed pool parties complete with DJs.

Loungers line the pool so you can get a good tan. Be sure to head to the bar to grab cocktails with a local twist such as Assam Boi Mojito and Kafir Lime Margarita. Fuel up with bar bites such as the Poolside Katsu Bun

8. Marini’s On 57 – whiskey and cigar lounge

At Marini’s On 57, you’ll be able to sip on drinks and enjoy views of the Petronas Tower above you through floor to ceiling windows. Try unique drinks such as Pandan Loves Truffle or Tiramisu Cocktail which are both rum infused concoctions priced at RM50 (~S$16.59). For the less adventurous, a regular Mojito (RM33 ~S$10.95) is also on the menu.

You can also scoot over to their Whiskey and Cigar Lounge that’s dripping with class. Choose from favourites such as the Macallan 12 Years (RM48 ~S$15.93) or Chivas Regal 12 Years (RM 30 ~S$9.96). Alternatively, opt for age-old whiskey bottles like the Glenfarclas 40 years.
