If this immersive concept rings a bell for you, it’s because the founder was actually inspired by the Van Gogh Immersive Experience exhibit last year.
They have 4 studios at their premises that can each accommodate between 8 and 25 pax. Unlike other yoga studios, Spirit Stretch doesn’t have any mirrors. So, don’t fret about your form; instead, stare at the projected lights to set your mind at ease. The instructors there pay extra attention to participants so they will kindly correct you when necessary.

Spirit Stretch welcomes everyone of all ages and skill levels, from young to old, beginner to expert. There are even classes where kids as young as 2 years old can join a session with parents.
There are many memberships available. There’s the 1-for-1 classes for first timers priced at $55 and also 1-month unlimited group classes for $400. If you want to bring a friend or family member along, you can get 10 class packs for $450. If you just want to try things out, you can opt for the single drop-in class that will set you back $55 excluding GST.
360-degree projections to do yoga anywhere in the world
Here, you can stretch amidst backdrops of the many projected themes. From being surrounded by snow-capped mountains and lush lavender fields, to being in serene depths of the ocean with a whale swimming around you, you will be transported to all corners of the earth. The projections vary from class to class and are elevated with the use of hand-picked music and aromatherapy scents so you can achieve full zen.
Spirit Strength offers a variety of classes like beginner’s yoga and free stretch, perfect if you’re just starting out. If you want to decompress after a tough day at the office, their breathing and meditation classes can help. You can also bond with your kid through their children’s yoga. There are even animal projections of deer and giraffes to keep your little one engaged.
Mothers-to-be can still clock some relief with natal yoga. There’s also pilates available, if that’s your cup of tea. But if you’re looking to find true zen, their alignment-based yoga and vinyasa-flow help you achieve that inner harmony.
If you’re looking to get stronger, their strength class is a muscle-building class that will make even the most ardent gym rat’s muscle burn. If you still want some traditional yoga incorporated, try out their yoga sculpt class, a mix of yoga and strength training.
How to get to Spirit Stretch yoga
The studio is located at Forum the Shopping Mall, which is about a 10-15-minute walk from Orchard MRT.
If you’re taking a bus, alight at either the Royal Thai Embassy or Opposite Four Seasons Hotel bus stop; both are a 5 minute walk away to Spirit Stretch. Since Orchard is a central area, its convenient to get there by both modes of transport. Plus, there are many things to do in Orchard Road once you’re done with your workout.
