Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience
It doesn’t matter whether you’re into art or not, you’ve probably heard of Vincent Van Gogh. And now, for the first time, Singapore will be displaying some of the most recognisable artworks by this iconic artist in what’s called Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience.
Here’s what to look forward to from 1st March-1st October 2023: a 360-degree digital exhibition, over 300 paintings, and a VR tour of 8 of Van Gogh’s most iconic pieces.
A 360° exhibition, 300+ artworks & a VR journey
Located at B1 Forum Resorts World Sentosa, the 360° digital exhibit will showcase 300+ artworks of Van Gogh, complete with light and sound. Famous paintings such as Starry Night and Sunflowers, as well as several self-portraits, will be projected across the walls, ceilings, and floor. Told you it’s going to be epic.

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. There’ll also be a VR experience where you can walk through 8 of Van Gogh’s most iconic pieces. Titled A Day In Life Of An Artist, the 10-minute simulation will send you on a trip through the French countryside.
Here, you’ll see the fields, the crows, the stars in the sky, and the artist’s bedroom in Arles – all that inspired some of his most iconic paintings. Word is you can even sit on the chair and bed in his famous Vincent’s Bedroom In Arles. Go see for yourself.

The exhibition just got a whole lot more kid-friendly now that there’s a drawing and colouring station involved.
Upon wrapping up the VR journey, instead of leaving, make sure you stop at the Drawing Studio to channel your creativity and inspiration. Grab a seat and a blank Van Gogh-inspired painting, and put your artistic talent to work. While my piece wasn’t worth showing anyone, you do have the option to upload your work and have it projected on the walls for everyone to see.

Afterwards, end your visit on a sweet note by grabbing a pastry and a coffee at Janice Wong cafe. It’s adjacent to the merchandise corner so feel free to treat yourself to a Sunflower-printed tote bag.

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience makes its debut in Singapore starting 1st March 2023, and a smart move would be to book tickets – which start from $15/child and $18/adult – in advance.
The exhibition has swept through Europe, the US, and the Middle East, and taken the world by storm. So, be there or be square.
