Sentosa Central Beach Bazaar
We know and love Sentosa for being our go-to spot for everything sunny and beachy. With attractions ranging from Universal Studios Singapore to hidden beaches, there’s no shortage of daytime things to do on the island.
Now, you’ll want to stay past sunset thanks to the newly opened Sentosa Central Beach Bazaar. We went down for a sneak peek so we can share more about what you can look forward to when it opens, from watching a free musical fountain show to chowing down tasty bites at an International Food Street.
Marvel at the Sentosa SkyJet, the tallest fountain in SEA
Come September, beach goers can look out for another addition to the landscape. The brand new Sentosa SkyJet stands at 80m-tall – about the height of a 24-storey building. It also lights up at night, and is aptly located next to the Wings Of Time, a night-time water show with stunning pyrotechnics that recently reopened in May after a 2-year hiatus.
We also learned that it’s built on a light-weight floating platform held down by seabed weights without requiring any built-in fixtures, making it an environmentally-friendly contraption.Â
Relax & enjoy the Sentosa Musical Fountain

Although Wings Of Time only shows at night, its set-up will be converted to a free Musical Fountain in the daytime, so you don’t need to wait till the evening to catch waterworks.
This fountain may be familiar to you if you remember it from the early 2000s, when it was located at the Imbiah Lookout entertainment zone before it was demolished. It’ll be making a grand return at the bazaar, with 2 different 5-minute shows alternating between 90s hits that were played in its heyday like Walking On Sunshine and NDP classics like Home.Â
The show, which will play at 30-minute intervals throughout the day, is visible free-of-charge from around the beach. For an extra good view of it up close, head to the International Food Street, where you can get complimentary entry to the seating area by spending $5/pax.Â
Try unique dishes at the International Food Street
Beyond enjoying the waterworks, beach goers can also grab affordable and delish food at the International Food Street. Choose from 8 different F&B stalls serving up an array of cuisines like Mexican, Japanese, and British.Â
These yummy bites will be served out of containers, kombi vans and trucks, and cost less than $10. You can expect food vendors such as Taco Pau, which serves Mexican-Indian fusion tortillas and tacos from $7.80, and Bentori, a yakitori skewer stall with prices starting from $6.80.
Hop on rides & play carnival games
A range of carnival games and interactive simulation rides will be coming to the bazaar as well, including a high-speed boat race and classic “Lobster Pot”. Whether you’re heading there with your young ones or for a fun day out with bae, you can expect an exciting beach-side carnival experience.Â

Plus, those wanting a bird’s eye view of the beach can head down to the SkyHelix Sentosa just 10 minutes away to enjoy a semi-thrilling ride with gorgeous panoramic bird’s-eye views of the island.
