If you’re already missing the 4 seasons from your yearly travels around the world, you are definitely not alone. Heck, even the slightest sniff of JB air would satiate that wanderlust in us. 1. Dig in at floral-themed cafes
As cafe-hopping is a go-to activity for those who appreciate a perfectly curated Instagram feed and yummy dishes. With that, there’s no shortage of aesthetically-pleasing cafes in Singapore, some of which go all-out on their themes. Furnished with rows of dangling dried flowers and stocks of fresh flowers, Wildseed Cafe looks nothing less than a garden with fresh spring blooms. Revel in the atmosphere while dining on Western fares like piping hot pizzas from $19, al-dente pastas from $15 and fresh salads from $13.

2. Make floral capsules at Make Your Own Workshop Cafe

While we’re on the topic of spring flowers, you can also DIY your own floral decor and gifts. Learn how to make an elegant floral glass capsule at Make Your Own Workshops Cafe, a workshop space that also has a menu filled with an array of teas (from $3.80) and coffees (from $3.50).

3. Paint watercolour flowers at The Workroom

5. Go open water scuba diving with Deep Blue Scuba

Scuba diving is an activity most of us may only associate with a flight to Bali or Phuket, but it turns out you can actually do open water diving right here in Singapore. 6. Soak your feet at Sembawang Hot Spring Park
Summer is about enjoying the outdoors. While a hot spring may not be an activity that immediately springs to mind during summer, it’s an activity where you can splash around and get some fresh air away from the bustling city.
Sembawang Hot Spring Park allows you to literally soak up the benefits of natural hot spring water, whether it’s to relieve sore muscles, or boil your own eggs in 70°C water. On top of that, you can also take a leisurely stroll along the new Floral Walk and learn about the common fruit trees and edible plants that were found in kampungs back in the 1960s.

7. Dine at the autumn-inspired Kreams Krafthouse

Kreams Krafthouse has recently bulleted its way through the hearts of millennials for their autumn-inspired decor. The cafe serves a wide variety of drinks like the Summer Latte ($10) which comes with a dash of cocoa powder and vanilla ice cream – and desserts including their unique Dalgona scones ($4) which are coffee-flavoured.

10. Play with snow at Snow City

Once winter season creeps in, many of us Singaporeans cannot wait to jet off to cooler countries to escape the usual tropical heat. But head over to Snow City and you can indulge in a slew of seasonal things to do like like snow slides and bumper car rides. There’s also a winter shooting arena (from $19/adult) with target shooting for adults.

11. Make Xmas gingerbread cookies & winter knitwear

12. Go ice skating at The Rink

The Rink is Singapore’s first Olympic-sized skating rink, and it welcomes skaters of all skill levels. You can sign up for lessons from $74 for a 30-minute session that includes a 2-hour admission fee, or master the skill yourself at an affordable fee starting from $14 for adults and $12 for children for 2 hours.
Skating aids that come in cute animal designs are also available for rental from $11 for a 2-hour session for the young ones.
