King of Snacks in Fusionopolis is a revamped version of the old Ah Seng stall, a 90s snack shop selling a plethora of old-school snacks. The company has self-produced snacks such as seaweed peanuts ($1.50/100gm), as well as popular items like Magic Pop Popping Candy ($0.60).

All their treats are halal-certified and often discounted, so you can find snacks like pineapple biscuits and fish crackers at lower prices.

Just when you thought you’ve explored all the nooks and crannies of Plaza Singapura, another hidden gem pops up. Iroha Mart is a Japanese grocery store in the basement level of the mall.

This store has stocked up some unique snacks in the past such as Pikachu-shaped sponge cakes and Yakisoba pans, which haven’t even been seen at Don Don Donki. However, the availabilities of these items can be quite sporadic, so you can keep a heads up by following their Telegram channel.

They also have more affordable options like Orion Mini Cola from $1.50 and Bourbon Petit Shrimp crackers for $2.00.

The portions here are customisable, so you can choose to have them in packets or containers sold in grams – 500g or 1kg. Choose the iced gem biscuits (from $2.50) or the iconic eyeglass chocolate candies (from $0.40).
