The Palawan @ Sentosa & Tipsy Unicorn Beach Club
Anyone who has been to Sentosa over the last few months would have noticed some serious construction works going on. Yeah, loud drilling and clunky machinery on the beach ain’t fun. But beach bums, you’ll be happy to know that something cool has been brewing. Enter: The Palawan @ Sentosa and Tipsy Unicorn Beach Club.
We’re talking 3 beach clubs, an indoor go-karting circuit, mini-golf experiences, and a dog run – just to name a few. Some of these are already open, so you can head over ASAP if you’re looking for something fresh and exciting to fill this weekend with. Here’s the lowdown:

1. +Twelve – 12 cabanas with private plunge pool
Swim-up pool bar.
We have Ola Beach Club, Tanjong Beach Club, and Rumours Beach Club to help satiate that Bali wanderlust. Now, there’s a new kid on the block for those of us who simply can’t get enough.
Poolside Daybed.
+Twelve has everything you’d expect including an infinity edge pool and swim-up bar. It’s got beach daybeds and poolside lounges, but if you’re looking for drippin’ luxury, they also have 12 cabanas, each with a private pool. Talk about shiok.
Private cabana.
Enjoy live DJ music, and seafood like Dynamite Shrimp ($27) and Spicy Ahi Tuna Roll ($30). Of course, there are beverages as well with beer from $14, and cocktails from $21. This hang is recommended for adults above 18, but if you’ve got kids, there’s the family-friendly Splash Tribe opening soon as well.

2. UltraGolf – Seaside mini-golf from $15
If you are still mourning over the closure of Holey Moley, head to UltraGolf, where you can flex your sick swings to your friends, or your cute date.
Put – or, should we say, putt – your skills to the test at this 1,900sqm, 18-hole outdoor course by the sea. They’ve got 2 tee positions catered to both beginners and advanced players, with tickets priced from just $15/pax if you come at the right time.

3. Splash Tribe – Family beach club with water slides
If you’ve got little ones in tow, keep an eye out for Splash Tribe beach club. Splash buckets, water spray jets, and tube slides – they’ve got them all. The sandcastle-themed water playground will keep them occupied while the adults catch a break at the in the infinity-edge pool facing Palawan Beach.
Gazebo.
You’ve got plenty of seats to choose from here including dining tables, and in-water sun loungers. But the gazebo’s probably your coolest bet, featuring a private 2-storey space you can call your own. Come with up to 7 people for birthday celebrations, get-togethers, or even family reunions. Each comes with a hammock, couch, baby chair, and even sofa bed on the top floor for sunbathing.
Don’t worry about your phone running out of battery or data either since they have power sockets and free WiFi.
Refuel with everything from cocktails and mocktails to sliders and seafood. The menu’s extensive and you’ll probably find something to satisfy the growling tummy – salads are also available if you don’t want a food baby! Just be sure to make an online booking in advance to secure a slot, especially if you’re visiting on the weekends.

4. HyperDrive – 3-storey gamified go-karting
Opening mid-August 2023

HypeDrive is an indoor electric go-kart circuit that’s gamified so you’ll feel like you’re in an Super Mario video game. Not to mention, it’s the first of its kind in Asia. Much like Mario and Luigi, you’ll be able to collect digital weapons or boosts to rush headfirst to the finishing line.

Race your friends to complete the 3-level neon-lit racetrack with 14 twists and turns. For the little ones, there are also junior go-karts available. Have we mentioned there’s a cafe you can refuel at after as well?

5. Tipsy Unicorn Beach Club – Indoor & outdoor zones
Opening 1st September 2023
+Twelve isn’t the only new beach club in store. Tipsy Unicorn Beach Club is opening on 1st September 2023, taking over the space of Wave House, along Siloso Beach.

Expect private cabanas, daybeds, and VIP lounges. Apart from having an outdoor space for those seeking a healthy tan, they also have an indoor zone you can escape to when you need a break from the heat.

6. The Palawan Food Trucks – 10 vendors with burgers & tacos

There’s perhaps no better way to a Singaporean’s heart than through food. The Palawan Food trucks will be serving everything from burgers to tacos. Vendors below:

7. The Palawan Dog Run – Free-entry zone for dogs
Opening in August 2023

The Palawan Dog Run is a gated field for all doggos – good bois, floofy bois and bombastic side eye bois – to run free. You can unleash your dogs here but just ensure that they’re supervised at all times. This area’s free to enter and water points will be available for the dogs as well.
