Splash Tribe ā New family-friendly beach club on SentosaĀ
Thereās nothing quite like sipping on some cocktails, donning your sunnies, and feeling the stress melt away as you soak up the sun. Whether youāre seeking a healthy tan or a cool dip into a pool, the beach clubs of Sentosa beckons.Ā Ā
Now, thereās a new kid on the block. Splash Tribe has recently opened on Palawan Beach with not just daybeds and nosh, but also a sandcastle-themed water playground and 2-storey gazebos. What can we say? We couldnāt resist a visit.Ā
Splash away the heat with water slides
Some beach clubs have infinity-edge pools. This spanking new one does, too ā and it also has something a little better: water slides. Whether youāve got a kid in your family or are simply a kid at heart, you now have a new way to escape the heat.Ā
BRB our inner kid is screaming.
The little ones can race their friends down a 3-lane slide, or whizz down a twisting tube. As for the adults, no oneās stopping you from joining in on the fun as well. Just take note that the blue slide in the corner is reserved for toddlers only.
Great for those of us who love water parks but canāt tolerate one adrenaline-pumping ride after another, this seaside hang is a great middle ground. Splash around till youāre tired before heading back to your lounge or daybed for a siesta.Ā
Gazebos, daybeds, and in-water loungers for a nap
They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Well, the same can be said for naps, if you ask us. Set aside all worries about KPI, timesheets, and clients for the next workday while you catch some Zs in one of their many daybeds, loungers, and gazebos.Ā
The 2-storey gazebos offer plenty of shade on the lower floor if you need a break from the rays, and an open-deck on level 2. It fits up to 8 people so bring along the whole jin gang ā youāll find the perfect lounge spot, whether you prefer sofas, daybeds, or hammocks.Ā
Each gazebo also comes with power sockets too so you can juice up that battery after taking a million IG stories. Not to mention, you donāt have to worry about letting your data plan go into the red as well, since thereās free WiFi as well.
Possibly the best seats in the house – the second floor of the gazebo has great views.
If the objective is to get a golden glow, the pastel blue daybeds by the pool are a great pick. Open a book, plug in that murder mystery podcast, or simply practice boketto ā a.k.a. the Japanese art of doing absolutely nothing as you gaze into the distance.Ā
While most visit beach clubs in groups, solo visitors wonāt feel out of place here ā the in-water Sun Loungers are great for anyone who wants some me-time.Ā

You canāt have a beach club without food and beverages. Indulge in something refreshing like the Chilled Watermelon Salad ($23) which comes with prawns, 2 types of watermelons, and a generous serving of feta cheese. The bite-sized Chicken Sliders ($21) are a great option if youāre hankering for something savory but donāt want a food baby.
Tropicana cocktail, Chicken Sliders, Chilled Watermelon Salad, Tropical Sunrise mocktail.
On the drinks menu, find cocktails from $19, beer from $14, and house-pour spirits from $13. Those looking to knock the minimum spend out of the park with drinks can also choose to open a bottle of champagne, rose, or wine (from $65/bottle).
We tried one of their signature cocktails, Tropicana ($23), doused with pineapple rum, and served with a Tiki-themed cup for Hawaii vibes. Kids or drivers who would prefer to avoid alcohol can go for the Tropical Sunrise ($12) mocktailĀ which comes with fresh passion fruit.
