Saying “please”, “thank you” and “aunty you look very pretty today” may get you free ingredients at your favourite cai fan or mamak store. From now till 4th September 2022, whispering secret codes at Texas Chicken gets you free snacks and drinks as well.

You know it – life can get pretty tough. So, Texas Chicken has gone ahead and collected some of the most common grievances we have, and turned them into magic words that grant freebies.
It works a lot like saying abracadabra to open a lock – just declare phrases like “I’m so stressed”, and voila, free food. For 3 weeks only, the fast food chain will be dishing out free snacks and drinks for everyone who whispers the right secret phrase to the cashier.
The first week has already begun and below are the codes you can use from now until 21st August 2022:
- “I’m so stressed” – Free Honey Butter Biscuit with any purchase
- “Today so hot” – Free regular Coke or Coke Zero with any purchase

From 22nd August to 4th September 2022, the fast food chain will be releasing more codes, which we hear will unlock bigger treats like nuggets and fried chicken. These codes are yet to be announced but you can keep your eyes peeled on their Facebook page for the latest updates.
