1. Level 33 – Microbrewery with fresh craft beers

As the name suggests, Level 33 is located on the 33rd floor of Marina Bay Financial Tower 1 and has a great view of Marina Bay’s city skyline. Fans of craft beer will rejoice at the fact that the bar is also a microbrewery where you can get fresh brews from the tap.

Even those craving something sweet can try some of their beer cocktails like the London Fruity ($23) which uses the 33.4 House Porter with rum, pineapple juice, mango juice and crème de fraise for a refreshing twist. “Crack open” a cold one with the boys, enjoy the view and get some food while you’re at it too that includes vegan and gluten-free options.

For a full-on meal, you can try out the Free-range Australian Pork Chop ($42) that’s marinated in Blond Larger and miso. Their Whole Roasted Palermo Pepper ($36) is also gluten-free and vegetarian if you want something that’s lighter and healthier, which leaves more room for drinks too so its a win-win.

Levant will have you feeling like you’re enjoying summer in Greece with their Mediterranean-inspired cocktails and food. One of their signature cocktails, Levantine Shore ($20), uses Turkish delight as one of its ingredients for those who want a sweet and Mediterranean twist to their drink.

Get the girlies together for a night out at Lady Wu. Named after the first and only female monarch to rule over China, it has heavy Chinese influences in both its decor and cuisine. They have unique snacks and food like Truffle Seafood Hor Fun ($23) and Ginie in a Teapot ($48) which is a mix of English breakfast tea with Hendrick’s gin and elderflower.

For those in the mood for a more atas experience, Vue is Singapore’s first rooftop bar that has charcuterie boards and spritz cocktails. Enjoy the sunset with a spritz cocktail between 5pm and 7pm and you’ll also get complimentary canapés to go with it. But if nothing from the list of spritz cocktails catches your eye, opt to build your own spritz cocktail (from $24).

You’ll feel like you’re on top of the world at Dusk Restaurant & Bar which is located at the peak of Mount Faber. You’ll get a panoramic view of Sentosa and Harbourfront and experience beautiful sunsets in the evening which really adds to the calm and quiet atmosphere of the place.

Your problems and stress might very well seem minuscule from up here, especially with a Nitro-Frost Caviar Martini ($18) in hand.  Olibier Bar is a no-frills, homely rooftop bar that looks and feels like someone’s balcony. The lawn chairs, the tablecloth and the style of the wooden table are all key elements of a typical Singaporean home. You’ll have a variety of both international and local craft beer (from $10) as well as spirits (from $11) and cocktails (from $16).

If you’ve been to Beauty World Food Centre, you might have come across Wiped Out amongst the other eateries there. This place gives off the heartland atmosphere with its casual setting and also the surrounding HDB blocks nearby. These don’t block the view though, which gives a great backdrop of the “heartland” skyline. Not something you can find at a regular ol’ hawker. 

Don’t let looks deceive though, they have quite a few types of craft beers and some classics like Heineken and Guinness on tap. There’s also an option for a Bucket of 5 for just $25 and you get to mix and match them too. These would go well with some Satay Bee Hoon ($4) from Jin Li Satay Bee Hoon or a Sizzle Mix Grilled Platter ($13.90) from Big Boys Sizzling Hotplate.

Southbridge could be your next go-to location for an after-work soiree if you work in the CBD area. Relax with a Pear Sour ($20) paired with a backdrop of the city skyline. If you happen to get off work early, they even have a 1-for-1 G&T special ($18) between 5pm and 8pm so bring your favourite co-worker along.

Kick into summer party mode at 1-Altitude Coast, the adult-only rooftop bar that also has a swimming pool. Located at the top of The Outpost Hotel Sentosa, it exudes island vacay feels. Grab a cocktail and head on over to the pool for a dip or chill in one of their cabanas while you enjoy the view of the Singapore Straits.
