If your ideal Halloween involves bar-hopping and meeting new people, The Official Singapore Halloween Pub Crawl 2026 might be right up your alley. Taking place on 31st October 2026, the event brings partygoers together for an evening of Halloween-themed entertainment, music, and dancing.

The night kicks off at Mogambo Bar & Restaurant, where participants can register and mingle with fellow partygoers between 7pm and 8pm. Once everyone’s gathered, the group will head out on a guided pub crawl around Boat Quay and Clarke Quay.

You’ll be visiting 4 surprise venues throughout the evening, with the exact locations kept under wraps until the crawl begins. You’re encouraged to show up in creative costumes, as there’ll be photo opportunities and surprise giveaways along the way. The event is open to participants aged 18 and above.

Trick or Thrills at Universal Studios Singapore offers a family-friendly alternative. Running daily from now till 1st November 2026, the event features Halloween-themed character appearances, entertainment, and exclusive merchandise.

One of the highlights is the Belloween Ball, where the Minions will be dressed in their monstrous best for a lively Halloween dance party. Fans of Kuromi can also look forward to meeting the character in her special Halloween outfit at Superstar Boutique.

Other meet-and-greet opportunities include Cookie Monster and Count from Sesame Street, as well as Shrek, Fiona, and Fairy Godmother at Far Far Away. Visitors can also snap photos with mythical Egyptian characters, including Ammu’khet, for something a little more intimidating.

3. SpoOktober 2026 at HomeTeamNS: Detention After Dark

Turns out, detention isn’t just reserved for students who get caught misbehaving in school. At HomeTeamNS’ SpoOktober 2026: Detention After Dark, you’ll be serving detention of the spooky kind instead. This year’s Halloween experience unfolds across 3 HomeTeamNS clubhouses, each featuring a different chapter of a sinister school-themed storyline.

The horror begins with The First Assembly at HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir, where visitors enter a school with a disturbing history. Legend has it that students who drowned in the nearby reservoir have returned, leaving behind waterlogged classrooms and unsettling whispers.

Next up is The Night Walk at HomeTeamNS Bukit Batok, where participants will find themselves wandering through a school after dark. Strange voices can supposedly be heard coming from deserted classrooms, but following them might not be the best idea.

The final chapter, The Last Class, takes place at HomeTeamNS Khatib. As the school prepares to close its doors permanently, visitors will discover that some students have apparently remained behind, still waiting to be dismissed.

Halloween isn’t just about dressing up in spooky costumes; it’s also about setting the mood. Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics brings the chills with an evening of eerie melodies performed live at The Arts House.

Taking place on 30th and 31st October 2026, the 65-minute concert features the Vocalise String Quartet, who will be performing a selection of iconic horror soundtracks and classical compositions.

You can expect familiar tunes such as Thriller by Michael Jackson, as well as The Addams Family Theme, Ghostbusters, and This Is Halloween from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Fans of horror films will also recognise music from The Exorcist, Psycho, Halloween, and Stranger Things.

The programme also includes classical pieces such as Danse Macabre, Night on Bald Mountain, and In the Hall of the Mountain King, making it an interesting experience for both film enthusiasts and classical music lovers.

Think you know your horror movies, spooky folklore, and Halloween traditions? Put your knowledge to the test at BQ Bar’s Halloween Costume Party With Trivia, happening on 31st October 2026.

The event combines a Halloween-themed quiz with a costume competition, giving participants the chance to show off both their outfits and their knowledge. Questions will cover everything from unusual costume styles and supernatural myths to memorable scenes from horror films.

Attend with a group of friends to compete in teams of up to 8 players, although solo guests are welcome to join or share tables with other attendees. So, even if your friends aren’t interested in trivia, you won’t have to sit this one out.

6. Snog, Marry, Accuse: Halloween Dating Horror Nights

Dating can be scary enough on its own, but Snog, Marry, Accuse: Halloween Dating Horror Nights takes things a step further with a murder mystery inspired by reality dating shows.

Hosted at Truth or Dare Rooftop Bar on 31st October 2026, the experience centres on a fictional dating programme called Villa Paradiso. The story centres around 20 islanders competing for a grand prize of £250,000, but things take a deadly turn when 1 contestant is murdered before the final recoupling.

Participants will be divided into groups of 10-20 and assigned characters from the fictional reality show. Each person will receive a dossier containing their character’s secrets approximately 2 weeks before the event, giving them time to familiarise themselves with their role.

Throughout the evening, you’ll mingle with fellow contestants, uncover hidden motives, question suspects, and piece together clues to identify the killer. No acting experience is required, so you can join in even if you’ve never participated in a murder mystery before.

Just take note that the dress code is Villa-glam meets crime scene, so come dressed as though you’re making your reality television debut. There’ll also be prizes for Best Dressed, Drama King/Queen, and Mr/Ms Money Bag, sponsored by Coffee Meets Bagel.

And since the event is designed for singles, you might just meet someone worth getting to know while investigating the murder.

Pool parties aren’t usually associated with murder mysteries, but Pool Party Panic: A Murder Mystery After Dark at Adventure Cove Waterpark combines both for an unusual Halloween experience.

Taking place on selected Saturdays until 31st October 2026, the event transforms Bluwater Bay into a Halloween-themed pool party complete with live DJ sets, neon lights, and a mystery waiting to be solved.

Once the music is interrupted, participants will be tasked with investigating 5 crime scenes inspired by Singapore folklore. Each location contains puzzles, hidden evidence, and clues connected to 1 of 5 suspects, all of whom have something to confess.

To participate, simply scan the on-site QR code to access the browser-based murder mystery game. You can explore the waterpark on your own or team up with friends to solve the puzzles, uncover each suspect’s confession, and work out who committed the crime.

Live Game Masters and a cast of suspects will be present throughout the experience to make the investigation more immersive. Those who successfully complete the mystery will receive a sure-win Festival of Thrills scratch card.

The activity is included with a One-Day Ticket ($29/child aged 9-12, $34/adult) dated for a participating Saturday, although Twilight Saturday Tickets ($29/child aged 9-12, $34/adult), which come with a $5 retail voucher, are also available. Due to the darker themes involved, the experience isn’t recommended for young children.

Families visiting during the day can instead try Legend Keepers: Tales of Singapore Awaken, a treasure hunt inspired by 5 Singapore legends. Running daily until 1st November 2026, the activity involves solving puzzles around the waterpark, with sweets and treats awarded upon completion.

8. Singapore’s Biggest Costume Contest

Trevor Kam is not just the MRT walker. He is also aspiring to host the largest-ever costume contest in Singapore, so Singapore’s Biggest Costume Contest is your chance to put on your best outfit and potentially walk away with a cash prize.

The event takes place on 30th October 2026 at L^ife at *SCAPE on Level 1. Participants will compete for the Best Costume title, with $300 up for grabs for 1st place, $200 for 2nd place, and $100 for 3rd place.

Costumes will be evaluated by 3 judges using scorecards, while cheers from the audience will contribute 20% of the final score. So, if you’re planning to enter the competition, bringing along some enthusiastic supporters might come in handy.

Trevor will also be putting together a giant community bowl of sweets, and attendees are encouraged to bring some candy to contribute. Besides the costume contest, visitors can enjoy sweets, grab some food, and mingle with fellow Halloween enthusiasts.

At National Gallery Singapore, visitors can celebrate the spooky season through a series of activities combining history, art, and a little bit of mystery.

For those who enjoy a good scare, there’s the Halloween edition of Former Supreme Court: Unseen, Unheard, an after-dark guided tour that takes participants behind the scenes of the historic former Supreme Court building.

Built in the 1930s, the building served as the setting for significant court proceedings for over 60 years. During the tour, you’ll get to explore lesser-seen areas, discover forgotten passageways, and hear eerie stories connected to the building’s past. The experience is recommended for visitors aged 13 and above.

Families with younger children can instead take part in the Trick-or-Treat Trail, where little ones aged 3-12 can create their own Monster-Builders box before embarking on an adventure around the Gallery.

Another highly anticipated neighbourhood Halloween event is the famous Woodgrove Estate Halloween trick-or-treat celebration, happening every year on 31st October.

Expect throngs of people dressed up, eerily decorated houses, music and smoke to up the ante of the event, and of course, no trick or treating is ever complete without the kids running around and asking for loads of candy.

Do take note that since this is an outdoor event and Singapore’s weather is currently affected by the haze, remember to bring lots of water to stay hydrated and even portable fans to keep yourself cool from any heat.

Also keep in mind that not every single house in the area is open to trick or treating, so be on the lookout for any decorated houses. They usually have large stashes of candy prepared for the kids.
