Our healthcare professionals have been selflessly pulling longer shifts during this period of COVID-19 to help everyone who needs treatment in a timely manner. Unfortunately, some of them have been shunned on public transport, and even turned away at food stalls – all because they’ve been thought of as “dirty”.

Contrary to that, they’re actually the cleanest people around, having taken extensive hygiene measures based on our high healthcare standards. To thank them for their contributions, some generous F&B stalls have stepped up to offer free food and drinks to these hardworking doctors, nurses, and hospital workers who sometimes don’t even have time to pop out for a proper meal. Here’s where these freebies are being dished out:

1. Taco or burrito with drink from The Mix Bar

Mexican comfort food at the end of a long day is definitely something to look forward to!

Free food for doctors and nurses in Singapore

We’re all wary right now, and perhaps a little down, with the dangers of coronavirus looming above us. But aside from those who are sick, our healthcare workers are the ones who probably have it the worst. Just imagine – long shifts, irregular meals, and even being on the receiving end of abuse or ostracisation in some unfortunate cases.

While we’re waiting for this to blow over, we hope that these little treats help put a smile on our doctors’ and nurses’ faces in this tough time. And for everyone else, do offer these dedicated healthcare professionals some love and gratitude to show your appreciation for them.
