For some of us, hotels just need to serve as a decent crash pad for the night. Enter Attrus Bed & Breakfast. With a decent 4.2 star rating on Google, the hotel does the job with clean and simple bunks reminiscent of Japan’s capsule hotels.

Regular travellers to Malaysia may already know of Tune Hotel, a popular chain known for comfy rooms at affordable prices. If you’re looking for a fuss-free room to call it a night, Tune Hotel Danga Bay is a good bet.

Despite its modest 3-star rating, each room comes with King Koil beds for a good night’s rest. While it certainly isn’t at the centre of the hubbub, this hotel is only a quick 10-minute drive or Grab ride away from Woodlands Causeway.
Take note that you’ll have to bring your own toiletries like toothbrushes and soap as the hotel doesn’t provide them!
3. V8 Hotel JB

Kids and water slides go together like Bonnie and Clyde so if you’re coming with little ones in tow, finding a place with the right amenities can be the cherry on top of your stay.
