Owen Suites at Owen House by Hmlet might have more than you need if you are looking for a suite to stay in without spending a bomb. You can find a spacious suite that can fit up to 3 pax per room for as low as $300. That’s just $100/person.
The suite comes with a kitchenette and dining area for those who prefer cooking their own meals. Otherwise, head to neighbouring bars and eateries in the Farrer Park neighbourhood or City Square Mall, which is just a 5-minute walk away.

But you don’t even have to leave the hotel if you don’t want to. Swing by the Sunlight and Moonshine instead. It’s a 1920s-inspired speakeasy within Owen House, with affordable cocktails starting from $14. That said, try out one of their in-house specials, the King Kong Krush, a mix of vodka, lime juice, and ginger beer, for only $15.
Owen House’s concept is also about being a space for people to work and socialise, which is great if you want to meet like-minded people. You can do so at 2 common areas, The Pembroke and The Plaza, with a smart television, sofa, communal kitchen, and dining chairs.
