Rainforest Wild Asia is set to become Singapore’s fifth zoological park; the other 4 being Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, Night Safari, and Bird Paradise. The first phase will open to the public in March 2025 and aims to celebrate the wonders of Asia’s tropical rainforests.
Besides being home to 29 iconic rainforest species, the 10 zones in the park will offer various outdoor experiences for visitors of all ages to explore. Activities will be tailored according to fitness levels as well, no matter if you’re an adrenaline junkie or someone who’d prefer chill walks through nature.

The Karsts feature towering limestone formations and make their mark as the park’s most picture-worthy backdrop. The steep and jagged cliffs make for a perfect climbing route, and adventurers can embark on a guided tour to conquer a via ferrata path.
Another high-element activity to look forward to is the Canopy Jump. It’s the park’s highest point, and ultimate dare-devils will get the chance to free fall 20m to the forest floor.

The highlight of any wildlife park is the animals of course, and Rainforest Wild Asia will be home to 29 different rainforest species, including monkeys, sun bears, and tapirs. The park is also introducing endangered and new-to-Singapore species, such as the François langurs and the Philippine spotted deer.
Head down to the Rock Cascade, where visitors can spot the majestic Malayan tigers roaming the area. The Watering Hole is one of the various flexible habitats around the park, and it’s where you can find animals like the red dhole and babirusa only at certain times of the day.
Explore different cave chambers
