There Are Wicked-Themed Installations At Sentosa, With Nightly Light-Ups That’ll Transport You To Emerald City

Wicked-themed installations at Sentosa

Something wicked this way comes: you may have heard of the Emerald City pop-up at USS last year, but now you no longer need a ticket to step into the world of Wicked: For Good. From 10th November 2025 to 4th January 2026, you can walk the Yellow Brick Road to Emerald City across Sentosa, and retrace the steps that Glinda and Elphaba took.

What is Wicked: For Good at Sentosa?

To commemorate the upcoming Wicked: For Good movie, Sentosa Island’s getting a magical makeover, featuring themed food and drinks, exclusive merch, and 6 limited-time installations that will be stationed from Sentosa Sensoryscape all the way to Resorts World Sentosa.

Expect to see whimsical elements like Glinda’s “magic” bubble and the iconic Yellow Brick Road – here’s your chance to get a taste of the film before it arrives in theatres in Singapore on 20th November 2025. There’ll be larger-than-life installations available all day, but they will only light up from 6pm to 1am, so we recommend visiting in the evening for the best experience.

What are the Wicked-themed installations I can find at Sentosa?

Begin your journey at the lower deck of Sentosa Sensoryscape, where the multisensory garden walkway will transform into the Yellow Brick Road. Walk down the path from Glow Garden to Lookout Loop and spot character snapshots from the story along the way.

Glinda’s Bubble

Along the path, you’ll come across Glinda’s Bubble at the Glow Garden. Now, this bubble might be just a mechanical gimmick in the film, but try stepping inside for a magical photo-op surrounded by tulips.

Pro tip: dress in pink to feel just like Glinda when she descended in Munchkinland.

Emerald City Express

Venture further and you’ll spot the Emerald City Express at Tactile Trellis in a new shade of pink. Take pictures next to the exposed clockwork gears of the steampunk train – don’t worry, this one isn’t speeding off anytime soon.

Elphaba’s Hat

Once you’ve reached the end of the Yellow Brick Road, this installation will be hard to miss. The 9m-tall Elphaba’s Hat will tower over Lookout Loop as an iconic symbol of the witch’s transformation, individuality, and rebellion.
