Katong Has A New Upside Down Cafe With Quirky Photo Ops & Affordable Brunch Grub

USD Cafe at Katong

We’re always on the lookout for new cafes for our weekend brunch excursions. For those looking for something completely head-turning, check out the new Upside Down Cafe USD Cafe – along East Coast Road at Katong.

You’ll get to snap cool optical illusion photos and sip on freshly-brewed Ipoh white coffee. Here’s what you can expect when you pay a visit:

It wouldn’t be a stretch to say the cafe has Trick Eye Museum vibes. Turn your gaze upwards and you’ll spot everything from countertops to dining chairs, and even a toilet bowl – all of which set the perfect backdrop for upside-down photos.

P.S. These whimsical photo ops are a result of upside down furniture hung from the ceiling, but trust that the tables and chairs you’ll be dining at are rooted firmly on the ground.
