4. Coffee Pork Ribs
Never thought that coffee and pork ribs could go together? Believe it or not, this peculiar combination works amazingly. If you’re a coffee junkie, you’ll definitely appreciate this dish which can be found at most tze-char stalls. The coffee makes an appearance in this dish as a sweet, sticky sauce used to coat the pork ribs after they are deep fried.

5. Otah and Pizza

6. Durian and Chee Cheong Fun
This would appeal to the durian lovers out there. Chee Cheong Fun is usually served with a thick sweet sauce or with light soy sauce, but here at House of Rice Rolls and Porridge, generous amounts of creamy durian puree is stuffed into rice rolls and served with a generous topping of peanut sugar. Yum, we say.
7. Fried Chicken and Waffles
This food combination from the United States is a rare sight on Singaporean menus, but you can get it here at The Beast. Deep fried battered chicken is placed atop a fluffy, crispy waffle and further drizzled with maple syrup. Talk about comfort food.

8. Chocolate and Pizza
The classic Friday night call-in fast food is revolutionised with a sweet tasting pizza. Melted chocolate is spread on a pizza crust with a whole medley of other ingredients like peanut butter, marshmallows and even M&Ms. Perfection in a slice.

9. Guinness – Beer Gao
To make beer gao, all you have to do is mix it with a lager beer – which is basically any beer – and Beer Gao is born.
Guinness is not just a normal beer. It is beer EVOLVED! Adding a touch of it will elevate your beer to the next level. Guinness has a creamy head, caused by mixture of nitrogen when it is poured. It is much darker and more robust, adding that extra oomph of flavour.
