1. Sport Planet Clearance Sale

2. LEGOLAND Water Park Splash Carnival 2025

Get ready to make a splash this July at LEGOLAND Malaysia Water Park’s Splash Carnival. For an entire month, the park transforms into a vibrant hub of fun with thrilling water activities, creative LEGO play, and tropical energy. Dive into exciting water games and challenges daily, and head to the Wave Pool for high-energy shows filled with beats and movement.

3. Tastefully Food Expo

Get ready for a foodie adventure at Tastefully Food Expo in JB, happening at Mid Valley SouthKey. This free-entry event is packed with over 300 booths offering everything from snacks and sauces to drinks, desserts, and ready-to-eat goodies. Expect loads of free samples, exclusive deals, and maybe even some cool finds you won’t get elsewhere.
It’s the perfect spot to explore local and regional food brands as well as stock up on treats before heading back to SG. There’s usually goodie bags for early birds too, plus lucky draws and demos. Pro tip: come hungry, bring cash, and don’t forget your shopping bags.

4. Berembuk Market 3.0

Thrifting in JB just got a lot more exciting. Touted as a preloved party, Berembuk Market 3.0 promises good deals, good vibes, and great finds. The vendors here are looking to find new homes for their men’s and women’s fashion, home decor pieces, kids’ items, and even vintage stuff. As with any good flea market, there’s going to be food stalls too.

5. Capybara & Friends 5.0

Giant inflatable mascots, adorable capybara-themed merch, and an actual capybara to admire… Capybara & Friends 5.0 is something we’d happily cross the border for. It’s basically a flea market with vendors selling cutesy stuff like plushies, keychains, candles, home decor, and hair accessories – all capybara-shaped.
Not forgetting food like cupcakes and macarons also themed around the irresistible animal. This instalment will be held at Eco Tropics in a giant open field by the lake – perfect for a weekend picnic.

Couples tying the knot in the near future, you might want to check out the KLPJ Wedding Fair Johor. Wedding vendors of all sorts will be gathered here to showcase their offerings. Who knows you might just find cheaper alternatives to things like wedding dresses, pre-wedding shoots, wedding rings, door gifts, and invitation cards.

7. Pesta Dessert & Kopi
24th-27th Jul
Pesta Dessert & Kopi is a foodie festival in JB that brings together over 100 vendors offering sweet treats, savoury street food, and specialty drinks. From gooey churros, loaded cookies, and chocolate-dipped fruits to crowd-favorite dishes like Korean fried chicken, tacos, lok-lok, and cheesy fries, there’s something to satisfy every craving.
The event features more than just food, though – expect live DJs, fun games, thrift fashion stalls, and performances. Coffee fans can sip on crafted lattes, matcha, and local brews like teh tarik, while shoppers can hunt for vintage clothes, Y2K styles, and accessories. There might also be talks and latte art competitions to look forward to.

8. Johor Bahru Darts Festival 2025

The Johor Bahru Darts Festival 2025 is hitting Paradigm Mall JB, bringing 2 days of electrifying darts action, friendly competition, and plenty of good vibes. Opened to players from Malaysia and Singapore’s SUPER LEAGUE circuits, this is your chance to cheer on your fellow country mates from the crowds.
You can watch the doubles and singles tournaments where the format follows a round-robin to knockout system. Heads up on the dress code: no slippers or sleeveless tops allowed, and don’t bring outside food or drinks.

9. Sunway Durian Carnival

Omakase but make it durians. If you’re a fan, you won’t want to miss this all-you-can-eat durian buffet for just RM98 (~S$29.73) at the Sunway Durian Carnival. Durian types you can expect include Musang King, Black Thorn, and Red Prawn.
Apart from feasting, you can also indulge in games, a durian soap-making workshop, as well as purchase some exclusive fruit-shaped plushie bags. For the ultimate convenience, hop on a 2-way CW bus from Lavender MRT for S$8, and it’ll drop you directly to Sunway Big Box.
