– Photo booths –
Regardless of what themes you’re looking for, there are plenty of options to choose from ranging from classic photo booths to ones with free costumes and props.
1. Pixie Loft
Access to multiple backdrops & special weekday deals

If you’re looking to go on a snapping spree, then look no further than Pixie Loft. Located in Haji Lane, it’s a photo studio that gives visitors unfettered access to all of their many booths during their hour-long session for just $10/pax.
Their offerings change from time to time, so you’ve got something new to look forward to on repeat visits. We’ve spotted mug shot themed rooms, classroom settings reminiscent of a ‘00s teen comedy, as well as unapologetically pink set-ups filled with plushies.

Swing by during weekdays to take advantage of their deals that rotate each day. For instance, visitors on Wednesdays can bring home an extra photo strip FOC, while Mondays see entry fees completely waived during lunchtime, from 12pm-2pm.
2. Solace Studios
Various locations, each with their own unique theme
Photo booth regulars will definitely have heard of Solace Studios, as they house some of the most vibe-y sets around to conduct your photoshoots in. They’ve got 8 locations islandwide so far plus a couple of pop-ups, but the 2 that stand out from the bunch are their studios at 30 Haji Lane and Orchard Gateway.

Called Solace Airlines and Solace Station respectively, these studios mimic scenes straight from an airport and train station. The aviation-themed Solace Airline is perfect for you to play pretend with their aeroplane window seats and replica passports if you’ve already used up all your ALs.
On the other hand, K-drama fans can recreate cheesy “first encounter” scenes at Solace Station, with its shiny train cabins. Regardless of which backdrop you pick, prices start at $10, and you get 2 multi-picture frame strips or 1 single-frame strip and after that, it’s $2 for every additional strip.

3. Moo Character Town
Cluster of photo booths in Jewel Changi themed after famous cartoon characters
Should you be looking for just the place to commemorate a successful first date, drop by the Moo Character Town in Jewel Changi and bring home some adorable keepsakes. It’s a cluster of 15 photo booths that are themed after characters from beloved franchises, such as Marvel, Winnie the Pooh, Disney, and Pixar just to name a few.
Each booth comes with a distinct frame for your pictures, so settle on one that suits your fancy before you head inside as the frames are displayed outside the booths. After that, ready your poses and show off those pearly whites; it’s just $4 a pop so feel free to hit up more than 1 booth to try out different frames.

4. Dollop Print Club
$10 2000s NeoPrints
If you’re a 2000s baby, you’ll probably remember taking cutesy NeoPrints at arcades after school. In fact, the fad was so huge that most kids had little photo strips pasted at the back of their phones. If you’re craving some early 2000s nostalgia, you’ll be glad to hear about Dollop Print Club.
This photo booth has 18 outlets islandwide, and is essentially an upgraded version of the NeoPrint booths we’re familiar with. For $10 for 2 strips, you’ll get to choose from an assortment of pretty frames, and even receive a complimentary digital GIF version of your pics in your email.
Moreover, Dollop Print Club is currently having a sale for the month of September; you’ll be able to visit any one of their booths and snap away for only $6 instead of the usual $10.

The booth offers 2 different photo types – a regular 4 panelled photo strip, called “Life4Cut”, or a more dynamic 1 to 8 panelled design, titled the “Story Edition”. For 2 strips each, the “Life4Cut” version costs $10, while the “Story Edition” costs $12.

You’ll get to print four B&W or colour photos of your choice, with add-ons available for those who’d like to take home digital files and extra prints. Plus, you’ll also snag yourself a free GIF file of all your photos from the session.

Mug & pillow printing
Selfies might get the job done, but not much can capture true personality and beauty like getting your photos done at Standard Photo. Started as a photo printing website, the business now has a studio for shoots.
Both the basic package ($35) and deluxe package ($85) will grant you 30 minutes to shoot, 1 set of 2 single photos, and a 4-picture collage to take home. Those who aren’t ones to shy away from a professional photographer can pay a visit to some of the more unique photography studios in Singapore.
Hip Xiong Photo Studio – 1850s-style wet plate photography
This photo was taken in 2020, believe it or not.
If you’ve ever come across your grandparents’ portrait shots from their younger days and wanted to recreate them for yourself, visit Hip Xiong Photo Studio to discover the novelty of tintype wet-plate photography.
Being the first and only of its kind in Singapore, this studio uses a photography technique dating back to the 1850s to create vintage portraits. By coating blackened metal plates – tintypes – with photosensitive chemicals, you’ll receive a one-of-a-kind image that can’t be achieved digitally.
Capture the present and make it family heirloom-worthy

Although they no longer have a physical studio space, Hip Xiong Photo Studio still offers Housecall Tintype services (from $600/3-hour session), where they’ll transform any place of your liking into their workspace and take your portraits then and there.

Being the first and only studio to specialise in classic Chinese portrait photography, Dressed Up Dreams Photo Studio will let you finally live out your period drama dreams.
Outfits and photography styles range from period eras to more contemporary times

Whether you’re looking to get some unique wedding photography shots or just want to have fun with your friends, the studio offers consultation sessions to know you better and discuss shoot locations. Their highly-personalised sessions start from $520, and the team will also be able to recommend suitable outfit styles depending on your preferences and give you a quote accordingly.
Say Chunkie! Studio – Quirky handcrafted backdrops and props
Home to the eclectic Chunkie Filmhouse, Say Chunkie! Studio is a creative space that doubles as a funky, themed photo studio. Although the theme changes from time to time, what remains consistent is the lovingly handcrafted backdrops, props, and retro vibes.
Most recently, the studio sported an Oceanic, Frutiger Aero-themed look — complete with paper mache marine life — that recalls the time of Windows Vista and early touchscreen phones. Other times, they’ve had a campy sci-fi set, recreated nostalgic Christmas photos, built a giant paper mache dragon for CNY, and more.
In the off seasons when there’s no theme, the studio features handpainted 80s-inspired gradient backgrounds, available in three colours: blue, pink and green. Their seasonal props aren’t available during this time, but rest assured there’ll still be a range of eccentric props to choose from.
While themed photo sessions range from $80-$200 per booking depending on the number of pax, off season booking prices vary and can be enquired through their IG. Each photo session is 30 minutes long, with 15 minutes of choosing time. Included in the price of the session are 8 digital copies, and 1 4R-sized print.
