Pink Fest 2026
June is once again approaching, and while some of you may be getting ready for the June holidays, others may be gearing up for Pride Month. It’s that time of the year again to come together with the community in celebration, as Pink Fest returns for another year of events.
What is Pink Fest?
Pink Fest is a volunteer-run festival that happens every June in commemoration of Pride Month. It’s a collection of events run by the community, for the community to come together, find a place of belonging, and celebrate Pride.
What can I expect at Pink Fest 2026?
Pasar Pink

Pasar Pink is back for another weekend over at New Bahru. Brought to you by the same folks behind Earthopia Fest, expect a warm, welcoming market featuring 67 local brands.
Admission is free, but do get your wallets prepared for the market’s offerings. Cop some pride merch to flaunt, get a tarot reading to see what lies ahead of you, or even watch a round of pro wrestling. And while you’re at New Bahru, visit their regular tenants too – some of them will also be running Pasar Pink promotions throughout the weekend.
Date: 6th & 7th June 2026
Time: Sat 10am-8pm | Sun 10am-6pm
Venue: New Bahru

The Proud Pet Parade

As you celebrate your found family, don’t forget to include your furkids too. Let them take centre stage at The Proud Pet Parade, happening during Pasar Pink.
Strut down the catwalk with your beloved feline or canine buddy, and stand a chance to win prizes for being the proudest or most fabulous pet in town. And even if you can’t make it in person, you can still join in on the action online, a new competition category being introduced this year. The best part is, all pets are welcome in this online category, not just your puppies and kittens.
Date: 6th June 2026
Time: 2.30pm
Venue: New Bahru

Watch stories of love and identity unfold at Pink Screen 2026. This year, Pink Screen has found a new yet familiar home at Filmhouse, and they’ll be screening 5 queer movies this Pride Month. Discover love in the Indian countryside with Cactus Pears, or learn about communities close to home through the eyes of Shh… Diam!, a Malaysian punk band, in Queer as Punk.
Don’t miss the event premiere on 29th May 2026, where they’ll be screening To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar. To commemorate the event, drag queens Opera Tang, Nishilia Aishwarya Bernard, and Secret Melur will be werking the stage before the film rolls, so you know you’re in for a treat.

LGBTQ walking tours

You may know about the community as it is now, but if you’ve ever wondered about its history, you can walk down memory lane, literally, with an LGBTQ walking tour.
Pridecommunity offers 3 tours you can choose from – the LGBTQ History Walking Tour ($65) takes you through Singapore’s progress towards inclusivity, while From Then To Them ($65) shines a light on the local trans community. And if you’re more of a night owl, consider learning about queer nightlife with Pride After Dark ($150).
Sign up for Pridecommunity’s LGBTQ walking tours.
And if that wasn’t enough walking for you, you can also join Of Communities And Spaces ($50), another pride tour by Rontoursthelioncity. He’ll take you to historic sites like Ann Siang Hill and Chinatown, sharing with you about the community and how its history intertwines with our national history.
