But, if you’re trying to catch a gorgeous view of the city, consider the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark one of your top priorities. 2. SkyHelix Sentosa

If you’re looking for an extra thrill to your sightseeing of the skyline, make sure to check out the SkyHelix Sentosa. This open-air gondola will take you 35m above the ground for a solid 12 minutes, where you’ll get to oooh and aah at Sentosa’s pretty skyline and surrounding waters.
Plus, this ride’s ascent and descent are slow and kid-friendly. Possibly the only frightening factor is the potential loss of cute shoes – your feet will be dangling out of the chair, so make sure to wear appropriate footwear.

Famous for proposals, this pretty open-air rooftop deck flexes views of Gardens By The Bay and the Marina Bay area. 4. Skyscape Sky Bridge, Johor Bahru

We all flock to JB for cheap eats, affordable shopping sprees and endless entertainment options. But on your 100th trip there, make a beeline for the Skyscape Sky Bridge instead. Suspended 149m above ground, this glass-floored walkway gives you an unobstructed view of the city below – just don’t look down if you’re prone to jelly legs.

5. Petronas Twin Towers Skybridge and Observation Deck, Kuala Lumpur

Besides catching a gorgeous sunset, you’ll also get panoramic views of the city and the Twin Towers. 7. Merdeka 118, Kuala Lumpur
2nd tallest building in the world
Scurry on up to the tallest building in Southeast Asia, Merdeka 118 in KL, and enjoy looming 679m above everyone else on the ground. If you’ve ever wondered what the characters of Up experienced, soaring through clouds and gawking at the view below, now’s your chance with this massive skyscraper that’s got an interesting architectural design too.

Perched on the 68th floor of George Town’s tallest skyscraper, The Top Penang Skywalk has an open-air platform 249m above the ground and city-wide views. As an added bonus, you’ll also find the TOP Penang Theme Park, which has cool activities like a carousel, exhibitions, an aquarium, and a mirror maze. Add to your Penang itinerary pronto.

9. Baiyoke Sky Tower, Bangkok

If you find yourself in another one of our fav travel spots, Thailand, make sure to head on up to Baiyoke Sky Tower and bask in the pretty views of Bangkok.
On the 84th floor, you’ll find their 260-degree revolving observation deck and on the 77th floor, you can catch views from their public observation deck. There are also telescopes for you to get all Sherlock Holmes and properly observe the details of the pretty skyline. Or, head to the 81st floor for a buffet dinner with a view.

10. King Power Mahanakhon, Bangkok
