You don’t see a lot of Thai-Western-Indian restaurants in Singapore, but it’s a good thing this one is open past the wee hours. Satisfy your palate with sweet and sour flavours through their Thai Style Fried Rice ($5), or opt for their all-time favourite Singapura Fried Rice ($7.50) served with a side of egg and chips.

Basasak Chicken, previously known as Waker Chicken, is a Korean food stall nestled right next to Kovan MRT. If you don’t mind some fried food indulgence and want to treat yourself to some guilty comfort food at midnight, their hand-battered, juicy fried chicken is perfect.

You can choose from a Tender Set ($11) or Wing Set ($12), all served with fries, with different flavours including original crispy, sweet chilli and honey butter. Alternatively, opt for the Half Chicken Set ($19) which includes a drumstick, chicken thighs and breasts to share.

Tian Tian Chi Mian is great for hungry folks looking for a simple midnight snack. With 9 outlets Singapore-wide, the popular hawker stall has 2 that are working 24 hours around the clock feeding peckish night owls.

Fei Fei Wanton Mee has had a long history as a family-run wanton noodle stall. But about 10 years ago, the elder brother broke away and opened his own stall with the same name and late closing time. Whilst both are still in business, the one at 72 Joo Chiat Place caters to hungry nocturnals.

The belly-warming bowls of wanton mee are enough to induce a food coma and put you right to sleep. Dry Wanton Noodles ($5.14), as well as Wanton Soup ($5.14), are available and delivered day and night. The famous store was established way back in 1962 and has been serving midnight-diners ever since. The affordable, bite-sized, delicious dim sum and baos make an excellent snack after the sun’s gone down. Char Siew Bao (2pc/$2.30), Bean Paste Bao (2pc/$1.70) and Siew Mai (2pc/$2.50) are just a few of the variety that the restaurant has to offer.
