These New Indoor Playgrounds In JB Have A “Floor Is Lava” Game, Trampoline Park & Mini Golf

JumpLah Playground, new indoor playground in JB

June’s in, school’s out. If you’re planning to cross the Causeway this June holidays, there’s a new indoor playground for your kids to bounce off all their excess energy. JumpLah Playground is located in Toppen Shopping Centre, which is 18-30 minutes away from JB Checkpoint.

Why is JumpLah worth your time? They’ve got “Floor is Lava” games for the whole family to move around and get competitive. Best yet, if your adrenaline is still pumping, head over to Olymkids, a sports-themed playground, right next door.

What to do at JumpLah, JB

Whether you’re a millennial or a Gen Z, you’ve probably heard of the “Floor is Lava” game. Basically, if someone shouts “the floor is lava”, you’d need to think of every possible way to avoid touching the floor since it’s supposedly “lava”. Touching the floor would mean losing the game.

At JumpLah, you’d be able to live this game out with light boxes and sound effects for that additional adrenaline rush. Of course, they won’t be using real lava. Instead, the red-lighted box would represent lava while the green and blue-lighted boxes would mean you’re safe and good to go. The goal of the game is to complete all the stages within 15 minutes.

In the beginning, the game can get pretty fun – hopping around, avoiding the red blocks like your life depends on it. However, as the game progresses, it gets harder and harder. You’ll need to think fast and react quickly. A tad bit of strategisation and agility would come in handy as well.
