Those who’re feeling nostalgic can make use of the traditional Oriental Chic setup which is split into two zones: a Chinese calligraphy area and a Japanese tea house area.

Take your cafe-inspired pics up a notch and add a whimsical touch at the Floral Garden Room. There’s also a 2D Black and White Room that’ll make your pics look like an optical illusion.

For those longing to recreate You Are The Apple Of My Eye (那些年) or Our Times (我的少女時代) scenes, pack your old school uniform for a shot in the Classroom Tuckshop Room

While you’re at the studio, get into character with the large selection of clothes and accessories available for your use. There are more than 200 options so you can find pieces that complement the vibes of each theme. The studio’s staff also provide complimentary basic makeup and hair styling services should you need any help. 


Explore a breakup museum & match-making room

While you’re here, be sure to stop by iWan Studio’s Breakup Museum. Here, you can showcase items belonging to those that have broken your heart, such as handwritten letters or movie snubs. If this helps you heal and move on, I’d say go for it. The studio allows you to leave it there after your shoot and will check if you want it back or to throw it away after a month. 

If you’re past that stage and ready to meet someone new, the studio also has a Match-making Room that includes a wall of jars holding strangers’ phone numbers. Pick a jar based on your horoscope and feel free to start a conversation with your match.

You don’t necessarily need to fork out a lot of money to get cool photos. iWan Studio’s rates go by the hour, from $29.90/person. The rates are inclusive of access to all rooms, outfits and makeup and styling services by the staff. The studio will revamp their themes every few months so you can go back again to check out the new sets. 

For those planning a family photoshoot, you’ll be pleased to know that your ‘lil ones can enjoy a 50% discount so long as they are 12 years old and below. All children below six years old can enter for free.
