iMall in Marine Parade
Marine Parade peeps now have another mall to frequent on weekends other than Parkway Parade, with the opening of the new iMall. We went down to see what’s popping down there, and here’s what you can look forward to.
How to get to iMall?

iMall is located near the Marine Parade MRT Station on the Thomson-East Coast Line. Look out for Exit 1 – the mall is a mere minute walk away from the exit. Alternatively, you can take the bus and alight at either Parkway Parade or Marine Parade Station Exit 2 before taking a short walk to the mall.

What to expect at iMall?
A wide range of wellness & aesthetic clinics

If you’re thinking of getting a glow-up, iMall has plenty of options to help you look and feel your best. There’s a wide range of aesthetic clinics to take your pick from, such as SL Aesthetics Clinic (#02-04) and V Medical Aesthetics and Laser Clinic (#B2-01A). The former offers non-invasive and FDA-approved medical aesthetic treatments, and the latter has served more than 150,000 patients to date, so you know you’ll be in good hands.
Or, touch up your nails at Concept NAILZ SPA (#B2-05), which offers everything from manicures and pedicures to even callus treatment. There’s also a TCM clinic, Chinese Medical Centre (#02-03), which provides the usual TCM treatments such as acupuncture and cupping.
Lesser-known F&B stores

Looking for a new mala makan spot? Tang2 Malatang (#03-03) is the place to be. Their broths are slow-brewed daily using a blend of 24 herbs for at least 2 hours, so you’re sure to walk away feeling satisfied. Plus, it’s their first outlet in the east, with just 2 other outlets locally at Jurong Point and Parklane Shopping Mall, a strata mall.

For something that’s truly exclusive to this mall only, there is Shikao (#02-06). This is the brand’s first outlet on our shores, but over in China, they’ve already got over 200 branches under their belt. The brand specialises in grilled fish with tofu done a variety of ways, with flavours ranging from Sichuan spice to Chongqing-style beancurd soy sauce.

As part of their soft opening promotion until 15th August 2025, you can get 50% off their grilled fish menu. All you have to do is snap a picture of their storefront and post it on social media, and make sure to tag them.

There’s also Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea (#01-08), which only has 1 outlet in the east at Pasir Ris Mall and a total of 3 in Singapore, so this one’s surely a rare find. Sip on their signature Yi Fang Fruit Tea (from $5.50), which uses a mix of pineapple and passionfruit jam.
Beyond the shops that are already up and running, there are some exciting newcomers to look out for. Congee Concept (#01-04/05) by A-One F&B Group will be opening an outlet at iMall on 30th July 2025. On that note, keep your eyes peeled for Kuan Zhai Wan Wan Xiang (#02-04A), which will be dishing out Sichuan cuisine in a self-service setup.
Household F&B brands

Just like most malls out there, iMall also has its fair share of familiar names, including the ever-reliable EAT (#01-06). For the uninitiated, it offers a variety of local hawker dishes from $4 and also happens to be the only Halal F&B establishment in the mall.

But if you’re just looking for a quick bite, pick from a variety of toasted bread and buns (from $2.40) at Toast Box (#01-02A/02/03). Meanwhile, Beutea (#02-07) is also another option to quench your thirst while walking around the mall.
Educational facilities & centres

If you were a fellow jiak kantang in your youth and don’t want the same to happen to your kid, send them to HCL Education Centre (#B1-03). Their curriculum offers tailored programmes for students from nursery to secondary school, with each class maintaining a small student-to-teacher ratio, so no child gets left behind.
Or hone your child’s musical skills at Cristofori Music Academy (#03-01/01A), the largest music school network on the island. Fun fact: the name comes from none other than Bartolomeo Cristofori, the inventor of the piano.
Kids’ playground, arcade & gyms

Everyone knows that all fun and no play makes Ah Boy and Ah Girl dull kids. Fortunately, there are many places in the mall for your little ones to destress. Paco Funworld (#B1-02) – an arcade centre akin to a mini Timezone – is one of them.

You’ll find classic arcade games, VR rides, and claw machines here – each game requires around 3 tokens for 5 rounds of playtime. The tokens are affordably priced at $10 for 22 tokens as part of their opening promotion. At the time of writing, there is no end date for this promo.

For kids who want to have fun while improving their psychomotor skills, swing by Fly Once Gymnastics (#03-05) – a pro school that specialises in teaching rhythmic and artistic gymnastics. Currently, they’re having an opening promotion where the first 80 sign-ups on WhatsApp can get 20% off training fees.

Saving the best for last, HappyWiz (#04-01) is a whimsical indoor playground featuring play structures that go up to 7.5m high. It’s another place that’s exclusive to iMall only, with this being the brand’s first outlet. Tickets go for $28/hour for 1 kid and adult – add-ons are priced at $10/hour for up to 3 hours.

Expect features like LED slides leading to a ball pit to crash into, edutainment screens, spiral slides, mini-ziplines, and much more. The entire space spans over 8,611sqft, making it the biggest indoor playground in the east.

A playground wouldn’t be complete without a slide, and this one has 4 that let you zoom down towards a massive ball pit. Another highlight is the spiral slide at 7.5m high, perfect for thrill seekers of all ages.

Get that beach bod this year at 24/7 Fitness (#04-01), a 24-hour gym franchise from Hong Kong – you’ll no longer have an excuse to skip gym day. Plus, it’s been designed with tranquil colour tones like blue and white to have a calming effect on the mind, important if you’re a newbie heading to the gym for the first time.

Equipment-wise, expect to see the usual squatting and deadlift racks available in droves. Dumbbells also go all the way up to 50kg, so you’re covered for the long term too. Plus, the shower facilities and lockers are known to be clean and spacious.
What else is there to do near iMall?

The hawker centre has plenty of yummy grub to choose from.
Once you’re done exploring iMall, head outside for some fresh air and maybe even grab some grub at Promenade Market @ 84. There aren’t many Halal-certified F&B stores in the mall, but you’ll spot plenty of options here, like D’Authentic Nasi Lemak, which serves up Nasi Lemak (from $4).
Choose from a wide variety of side dishes.

There’s no chicken or fish set here – simply pick and choose your favourite ingredients to build your own version of Nasi Lemak, cai png style.

We also spotted Silver Kris Comics (#01-59) – a gem selling rows and rows of comic books. They’re pretty affordable too – choose from most of their collection for just 3 for $10.
Visit the newly opened iMall in Marine Parade

So the next time you find yourself in the Marine Parade area and want to chill out at someplace low-key yet fun, swing by iMall. It’s a little more under-the-radar, which means no jostling with the weekend crowd.
