Working off those calories from that last cake you ate doesn’t have to involve pounding the track for an hour – try jumping around at Singapore’s trampoline parks. Bouncing around doesn’t seem like it’d do much, but you’d be surprised by how effective it is in giving your body the workout it needs – your legs will likely be aching the next day.

Going to the cinema is so last Wednesday. These days, we watch movies outdoors. Okay, I kid, but hey, enjoying a movie out in the open is vastly different from going to a cinema. The full film lineup can be viewed here.
The first 750 participants each night will receive a free inflatable backrest cushion to use and later take home. Be sure to head down to the HOOQ lounge cushion tent and activate a 1 month free subscription to claim it.

For starters, check out this garish LED signage outside Peace Centre that belongs to a not-so-family-friendly KTV bar with strong siam diu vibes. Unconventional, yes, but it’ll give your Instagram feed that “I’m too cool for you” aesthetic.

The next time you make plans to have drinks with friends, give a pub quiz a try. Even if you’ve never really tried trivia puzzles, don’t worry – they’re not as intimidating as they seem. In fact, most of them are pretty chill, and there are no penalties for answering wrongly. But of course, if you do win these quizzes with your friends, you’ll be amply rewarded, with Molly Malone’s offering a free bucket of 5 beers.
For a list of pubs and bars that conduct trivia nights, check out our article here.
With all these activities to keep you entertained, National Day is not the only thing there is to look forward to in August. The fun persists before and even beyond, so be sure to plan your next outings fruitfully!
