McSpicy Museum at McDonald’s Bugis Junction
As if the recent heatwave isn’t enough, McDonald’s is giving us another reason to sweat buckets on the Little Red Dot. Spice fanatics can rejoice, as there’s a new limited-time McSpicy Museum that has popped up in Bugis; don’t worry, there’s a nearby toilet if your bowels can’t quite take the heat.
What to expect at the McSpicy Museum?

Located at the open space beside the McDonald’s Bugis Junction outlet, the first ever McSpicy Museum is open from now till 25th May 2025, from 11am-9pm daily. Entry to the McSpicy Museum is also free.

Of course, the McSpicy burger will take centre stage at the pop-up experience, which will sport interactive zones where visitors can learn more about the history of this cult favourite delicacy. Take a gander at the evolution of its packaging over the years, and how countries around the world gave their own unique spin on Singapore’s unofficial national burger.
We’ve also spotted several cutouts announcing the release of a new Smoky Chilli Mayo McSpicy burger that’s slated to hit restaurants on 15th May 2025, which is just music to spice lovers’ ears.

We foresee crowds forming at Bugis Junction pretty soon, because they’ll be giving out fiery freebies such as stickers at the installation too. On top of that, 50 free McSpicy burgers will be dished out to visitors of the pop-up on a first-come-first-served basis, from 12pm-5pm, from 19th-23rd May 2025.

If you happen to be in Bugis and have yet to decide on what to get for lunch, consider this your cue to head to the Golden Arches to wolf down on a McSpicy. FYI, you don’t have to look hard for a toilet should you get the runs, as the closest toilet is right beside the pop-up in Bugis Junction. We’re looking at you, spice wimps.
