Love Anchor Bazaar Is A Rustic Open-Air Market In Bali Where You Can Find Artsy Souvenirs & Homeware

Love Anchor Bazaar – Art market in Bali

Eat, beach, shop, repeat – that sounds like the perfect vacation. One of our favourite things to do in Bali – besides enjoying delicious Balinese cuisine – is shopping at the various markets.

Most Singaporeans who have visited Ubud would probably be acquainted with Ubud Art Market, known for selling clothes and homeware, but it can be quite a drive if you’re not staying in the area. If you’re in the Seminyak or Canggu area, Love Anchor Market is an alternative. The airy art market is open 7 days a week, rain or shine.

So bookmark this for things to do – especially if the weather is less than ideal during your Bali trip.

A 14-minute walk from Old Man’s Beach in Canggu

Love Anchor Bazaar is located in Canggu, Seminyak’s hip neighbour. This trendy neighbourhood is also where you’ll find the popular beach club La Brisa and Penny Lane Bali, an IG-friendly glasshouse cafe.

This open-air art market is just a 14-minute walk from Old Man’s Beach, which makes it great for post-beach shopping. And if you need to buy a swimsuit before heading for a dip in the sea, we’re sure you can find one here.

It’s a scenic walk down the road between both locations, as you’ll stroll past various cafes and bars. But should you want to hail a car or bike through a ride-sharing app, know that it’s really accessible to do so.

Clothes, accessories, art & homeware from independent vendors

Love Anchor Bazaar - clothes

Unlike shopping malls and boutique stores where prices displayed are set, it’s different at Love Anchor Bazaar. In fact, bargaining is expected here. So don’t be put off by slightly higher prices, as the sellers usually mark the prices up by about 20%.

We were quoted Rp 280,000 (S$24.83) for a maxi dress but managed to haggle it down to Rp 200,000 (S$17.74)

Love Anchor Bazaar - dreamcatcher
Everyone knows the key to nailing that boho chic look is a gorgeous white dreamcatcher.

Besides clothes and accessories, you can easily find pretty homeware here. It’s the interior haven for those who love the jungalow interior design trend that you see in Bali villas, usually defined by the use of rattan, bold colours and patterns, and different textures.

Love Anchor Bazaar - coasters

You can get a cosy throw for Rp 500,000 (S$44.30), handmade resin vases from Rp 400,000 (~S$35.47), and dream catchers from Rp 100,000 (~S$8.87) for a small one.

Just make sure you’ve bought enough luggage space for your flight back – cause you won’t be able to stop yourself from shopping while you’re here.

POV: that one friend who goes to Bali, and all they get you is a magnet.

Say you’re scrambling to buy your friends or colleagues some souvenirs before heading to the airport – there are also various vendors selling travel magnets and keychains here.

Go shopping at Love Anchor Bazaar the next time you’re in Bali

Now that you’re in on this uber cool hangout, why not check it out the next time you’re in Bali? It’s also a one-stop shop for all your souvenir shopping needs – so you can spend more time chilling at your favourite cafe or beach club.
