IKEA LEGO collection
UPDATE: IKEA has announced that their LEGO sets are currently sold out and will be restocked in March.
“Let’s go to IKEA”, said half of Singapore on a fine Thursday morning. If you read news stories about the snaking queues at IKEA Tampines on 18th Feb 2021, you wouldn’t be shocked to know that it was caused by none other than the newly-launched LEGO collection, dubbed BYGGLEK.
Don’t need to apply for emergency leave to rush to your nearest IKEA just yet: the collection will be launched online soon, so you’ll have plenty of time to get your hands on this rare collab.
Hardcore IKEA fans, here are some other articles for you:
Storage boxes to make clean-up fun

Those with kids would know how taxing it can be to have to clean up scattered toys day after day. But with BYGGLEK, that might just change when clean-up time becomes part of play time.

The collection basically comprises storage boxes designed like classic LEGO bricks – you can stack and connect them in any way your imagination allows you to. And yes, that means you can attach even more LEGO bricks on top of these boxes to create fun designs to proudly display at home.

There are four different items you can purchase:
- A large box ($24.90)
- A medium box ($19.90)
- A set of three small boxes ($19.90)
- A 201-piece BYGGLEK LEGO brick set ($24.90)

All of the boxes come with lids, and you’ll easily be able to stow and organise your kiddo’s LEGO bricks and other toys by tossing them in.
Get IKEA’s LEGO collection online and in stores
The IKEA x LEGO collection has evidently made waves across the nation, but if you’re looking to siam the queues, simply wait for it to launch online. You’ll have a good chance of getting your hands on these fun storage boxes and LEGO bricks, as IKEA is limiting purchases to three pieces per article, per customer.

That’s not all – those who spend a minimum of $50 on the BYGGLEK collection at any of IKEA’s physical outlets can get their hands on a free 30359 LEGO CITY Police Water Plane. It’s limited to the first 200 customers per store, while stocks last.
