Climate Vouchers 2025 – How & where to use them

It’s no secret that as Singaporeans, we’re suckers for freebies, especially when money’s involved. From Assurance Package payouts to CDC Vouchers, our ears perk up whenever we catch wind of potential ways to cope with the rising cost of living in Singapore, and rightly so.

As such, we’re bringing another government scheme to the forefront of your attention. In case you didn’t know, much like the aforementioned CDC Vouchers, every Singaporean household is entitled to $400 worth of Climate Vouchers too. Here’s everything you need to know about these vouchers.

Climate vouchers are a component of the Climate Friendly Households Programme (CFHP), which is a joint initiative by NEA and PUB that encourages families to be more wary of and efficient in their energy and water consumption.

In April of 2024, Climate Vouchers were introduced as part of the programme. HDB households could claim $300 worth of Climate Vouchers to help pay for energy and water efficient appliances and fittings. This year, an additional $100 worth of vouchers were handed out, and they  were also extended to Singaporeans staying in private residential properties.

As such, eligible HDB and private households can claim a total of $400 worth of Climate Vouchers in 2025. Do note that these vouchers are valid till 31st December 2027. Take note that HDB households that have already claimed the initial $300 worth of vouchers before 15th April 2025 can subsequently claim only $100 worth of vouchers.

If you’ve already claimed your CDC vouchers earlier this year, the process of getting your household’s Climate Vouchers is pretty similar. Simply visit the official RedeemSG website, sign in to your SingPass account after tapping “Climate Vouchers”, and you’ll receive an SMS with a link to access your vouchers.

Only 1 household member will need to do this, so if you’ve claimed the vouchers for yours, share the link with the rest of your household should they want to use the vouchers. Keep in mind that multiple families or tenants living in the same registered address are collectively entitled to only 1 set of $300 and 1 set of $100 worth of vouchers.
