With 14 locations around Singapore, it’s no surprise that many of us have been to Al Capone’s Sports Bars & Dining at least once in our lives. The place is known for their affordable beer, with rates going at $9.50 for a full pint of Guinness and $45 for a 3L Heineken tower. Pair this with the TV screens that are blasting the latest football match and you’ve got a fun-tastic night.

2. Brew House Sports Bar
Here’s one for Northies who don’t want to travel too far to catch the match and have a pint. Brew House Sports Bar is located in Sembawang, just 10 minutes from Springleaf MRT station along the Thomson-East Coast Line. You’ll be able to find their screening schedule on the Brew House Sports Bar Facebook page.

They regularly run deals on beer buckets, so be sure to invite friends along to watch the game with you. They’re currently running a $33 promo on 5 bottles of your choice.
3. BQ Bar
If the game is right after work, then BQ Bar at Boat Quay is where you’ll want to head to. They show a number of matches across different sports, including the AFL, Wimbledon, and the upcoming Olympics in Paris.

When there aren’t any live games to watch, BQ Bar has a DJ spinning music like reggae and motown. Feel free to dance away, or even take your drinks outside to admire Singapore’s scenic skyline – the bar is right by the river.
4. Lion Brewery Co Taproom
Lion Brewery Co may already be a familiar name to those among us who enjoy craft beer. The made-in-SG beer brewery produces pale ale, lager, and IPA right on our shores. Now you can enjoy one of their draughts at the Lion Brewery Co Taproom.

Of course, the beer will be almost secondary when you find out they also screen football, rugby, and other sports matches here, 7 days a week. The crowd here take their games seriously, and will come dressed in their team’s jerseys to show support.
5. Dallas Restaurant & Bar
There are 2 locations for Dallas Restaurant & Bar but it’s their Boat Quay outlet that plays F1 races, AFL matches, and other sporting events on their large screen TVs. The American bar serves mostly Tex-Mex cuisine; load up on tacos (from $20 for 2) filled with chicken schnitzel or ribeye beef, or get a plate of fajitas (from $28) while you cheer on your team.

Games are always better watched with fellow fans and friends. Get the Quesadillas Platter (from $22) which comes with guacamole, sour cream, and salsa as toppings. Otherwise, The Dallas Platter (from $30) comes with wings, jalapeno croquettes, and calamari and can feed up to 4.
6. Brewerkz Riverside Point
Already a popular gathering spot for those in need of a drink for those in Clarke Quay, Brewerkz Riverside Point also screens live matches from the TVs that are hung up on almost every corner of the bar. Do note that some of their screenings require paid entry, like their recent showing of the SuperBowl 2024.

7. Charlie’s Restaurant & Bar

We know, the best view is when your team scores the winning goal. But at Charlie’s Restaurant & Bar, you’ll also be treated to the serene sights of the Singapore River. Besides screening the usual sports like football, rugby, and F1, the place also shows cricket, UFC, and tennis matches.

Found in the converted Peranakan House on Joo Chiat Road, Hogs Bar is everything a beer drinking sports fan could dream of. From pool and foosball tables to beer gardens and a menu serving only the best Western food, this is home to everything you could possibly desire.
Live sport is what Hogs Bar revolves around, showing almost every sport you can think of, as well as being more than willing to cater for your personal sporting needs. Just let the staff know if you have a favourite event live on TV, and they’ll try to ensure that you get to see it!
10. Harry’s
Although not specifically known for being a sports bar, Harry’s is still home to many sports fans tired of watching football at home alone. With 20 bars across the island, sleep soundly knowing that there’ll always be a Harry’s relatively nearby.

Thankfully, The Penny Black Victorian London Pub lets us all enjoy the next best thing, having been designed and built in England and shipped piece-by-piece all the way over to Singapore, where it was then re-assembled. The Drunken Poet is where you’ll get the best craic on the latest sports news. This authentic Irish pub is located conveniently at Orchard, and you can expect loud roars of cheering whenever a football match is going on. And if you’re one to munch on grub while watching a game, you’ll be thrilled to know that their kitchens open till 1am from Tuesdays to Saturdays.
