Where to get cheap pickleball equipment?
Online retailers like Lazada and Shopee are a good start if you want something affordable for casual sessions. This lets you hop onto the pickleball trend without too much of a financial commitment.
Shopee sells pickleball sets that come with 2 paddles and 4 balls from $28, complete with a bag to store your new gear in.

Lazada users, not to worry, you won’t be missing out on cheap pickleball equipment. They also sell a pickleball set with 2 paddles and 4 balls for just $14.62.

This set is currently having a 62% off promotion, so it’s best to get it ASAP. Despite its low price, the reviews praise the paddle’s control and comfortable grip. Most pickleball paddles worth their salt are priced from $130 onwards, with the most high-end ones costing around $330. So, finding a cheap set like this one that has good control and grip is pretty worth it, in our opinion.
Why are pickleball paddles so expensive, and are they worth it?
The recent rise in popularity of the sport and thus an increase in demand for the equipment could explain why pickleball equipment is relatively expensive. We are, after all, seeing pickleball courts in SG getting booked up very quickly.
However, high prices don’t necessarily mean higher quality, but most pickleball experts recommend getting proper equipment as it improves your control and serving power during a game. Additionally, if you plan to play regularly, investing in higher-quality paddles and equipment that can keep up with your sessions would save you more money over time.
Of course, getting good paddles doesn’t have to break your bank – there’s a ton of different options and brands available, all at various price points.
