Those looking to spruce up their feed can swing by Gardens by the Bay to catch the annual Tulipmania exhibition in the Flower Dome. The annual showcase of stunning beds of tulips will take on a Türkiye-inspired theme this year, and will shine the spotlight on the diverse civilisations that shaped the country’s culture.

Apart from the 65,000 tulips spanning 35 varieties, highlights include a 6m-tall Trojan horse from the Battle of Troy, as well as a faithful recreation of the Göbekli Tepe, which is widely considered to be the world’s oldest temple.

2. Sunda Festival 2025

For a shindig that both grown-ups and little ones can enjoy, look no further than Sunda Festival 2025. It’s an alternative dance music festival that’s also packed with family-friendly activities. While they’ve got local local acts supplying the beats till the wee hours of the morning, they’ve also got activities such as all-ages dance workshops, slow fashion jamming sessions, and Easter egg scavenger hunts.

Should you be planning a prolonged stay, there are on-site huts and tents (from $120) at Sunda Festival you can rent that sleep up to 6 pax, so you can sorta recreate that Coachella vibe.

3. Farmers’ Market: Easter Egg-stravaganza Edition 2025

We’re due for a long weekend thanks to Good Friday, so pay a visit to City Sprouts Henderson to immerse yourself in some Easter-related fun. They’re inviting all to join their Farmers’ Market: Easter Egg-stravaganza Edition 2025, which will feature over 30 vendors selling fresh produce and tasty bakes to munch on.

There’ll also be a slew of interactive activities to immerse yourself in, such as an Easter egg hunt, rabbit-caring and Easter egg terrarium workshops, and sustainable arts projects to work on.

4. Takashimaya Love The Earth 2025 event

Takashimaya’s not just an expansive department store where you can stock up on everything from clothes to housewares; you can now swing by to grab eco-friendly essentials and learn how to live more sustainably too. This is part of the Takashimaya Love The Earth 2025 event, which sees a slew of promos and activities centred around taking care of our precious planet.

Mark your calendar for Tuesday, 22nd April, as they’ll be hosting workshops teaching you how to upcycle used coffee grounds into a rejuvenating body scrub, and old t-shirts into handy reusable shopping bags. Slots are limited, so sign up online ASAP. Participation costs $20/pax, but you’ll also get a $20 shopping voucher and goodie bag after completing the workshop, essentially making it free! 6. Miffy’s Garden at Changi Airport

7. Wonderlab

If you haven’t checked out the new Punggol Coastal Mall yet, here’s another reason to head down to the area. Indulge in activities and watch live performances at Wonderlab every weekend till the end of April. Free play activities include making light up greeting cards, participating in a family scavenger hunt, and decorating a robot.

There are also guided workshops like pandan leaf weaving, making 3D printed artwork, designing solar powered lanterns, assembling your very own LED flower garden.

8. Rainforest Wild Asia

In case you’ve been living under a rock, Rainforest Wild Asia is finally open! How is it different from all the other wildlife parks, you ask? Well, it has manmade caves, a forest trek, and a canopy jump. Animals you’ll get to spot include a Malayan tiger, playful langurs, and hog deer. Within the caves lurk slithering snakes and creepy scorpions – all within an enclosure, don’t worry.

Cavern Restaurant

Along with the wildlife park, the Cavern Restaurant has also opened its doors and is welcoming patrons to dine in a “cave” setting. The eatery can be accessed from the outside, even if you’re not heading into the park. And if you’re looking for a romantic activity on a date, have a stroll along the new Mandai Boardwalk before grabbing dinner.

9. Rocketland

If you need a fun distraction for the little ones, make a trip down to Rocketland in Aperia Mall. It’s an inflatable playground for kids to run riot in, as they whiz down slides and bounce all over mini obstacle courses. There are also a couple of activity stations for the kids to have a go at; they’ll be rewarded with goodies like balloons, ice cream, and tote bags for their efforts.

Entry is free too; you’ve just got to spend a minimum of $35 in a single receipt on weekdays at Aperia Mall for a 30-minute pass for 2 pax. Alternatively, you can simply pay $10 for an hour’s worth of playtime.

Currently, there’s a Portals exhibition paying homage to the events that occurred in the past through interactive installations created by 7 local artists. Each room portrays how our nation fell when the British surrendered via displays that use art and technology to create sounds and visuals.

12. Wonders of Nature

You can’t quite go wrong with a mellow museum date, so make your way to the New Art Museum Singapore to catch its latest flavour of the month, Wonders of Nature. Like its name suggests, your camera roll will be blessed with a whole lotta green, and will showcase art pieces by 8 international artists such as Yayoi Kusama and Go Yayanagi.

Highlights include a huggable cacti inflatable nestled within a ball pit and an interactive Obliteration Room where you can “vandalise” artwork with stickers.

National Gallery Singapore presents City of Others: Asian Artists in Paris – a new exhibition that brings to light the interactions and influences between the local and migrant artists in the French capital. Explore themes of identity, belonging, cultural exchange, and creativity from the POV of Asian artists who exhibited their work in Paris while living in the city during the 1920s-1940s.

Over 200 artworks including paintings, sculptures, and lacquerware will be on display, spread across 3 galleries.
