Daycations are a great way to get access to hotel facilities and amenities at the fraction of usual prices – perfect for all those who proclaim “I’m not going to pay just to spend half the time sleeping”.

While there are no pools or gyms available, you can loan board games such as Monopoly, Jenga, Snakes and Ladders and also Poker cards for free, with movie projectors and Nintendo games at an extra charge.

We won’t blame you if you haven’t heard of Villa Umbrella. It’s one of the newest boutique hotels in town, with decently-sized 20-30 sqft rooms and plenty of activities from horse riding to The Karting Arena nearby. Book a room here for a short getaway to the less-explored nook of Turf Club Singapore.
