VivoCity Toys“R”Us, flagship store in Asia
Now that school’s out, there are plenty of family-friendly June holiday activities to do. But if your kids are homebodies and prefer playing at home instead, why not treat them to some new toys? After all, going to a physical store is an activity in itself, especially at the newly redesigned VivoCity Toys”R”Us store which recently opened in May.
What you need to know before visiting Toys“R”Us VivoCity

Since it opened in Singapore in 1984, Toys”R”Us has become the go-to toy store for kids and parents alike. There are now 12 Toys”R”Us stores islandwide. The VivoCity Toys”R”Us, though, is the Asia flagship store. It takes over 23,000sqft of the mall and boasts different zones, including the largest LEGO section in Southeast Asia and the country’s first-ever Bandai store.
You can still expect to see the usual toys from other franchises like Hot Wheels, Barbie, and Play-Doh. And while there are plenty of life-sized figurines here, they are mostly for display. Gently warn the kids not to play or tamper with displays by crossing the display barrier or climbing onto it.

Let’s dive straight into the most exciting part of the VivoCity Toys”R”Us, the LEGO section. Sure, there may be many LEGO stores in Singapore, but not many have life-sized figurines for your kids or even for you to pose with.
After all, it is the largest LEGO section in SEA. Hardcore motorsport fans will love the life-sized 1970 Ferrari 512M LEGO model located in the middle of the store, in all its red shining glory.

Be prepared to find a huge range of LEGO products for both serious collectors and casual hobbyists. The store stocks up on collections like LEGO Star Wars, Ninjago, Technic, and Friends. You name it, they have it.

But life-sized LEGO displays aren’t the only ones to look forward to. You’ll also run into an Optimus Prime figurine and a 2m-tall Gundam statue.
Singapore’s first-ever Bandai store
In fact, seeing the latter signals that you’ve found the next highly anticipated section of the store, the Bandai store. This marks the first-ever Bandai store in Singapore, ensuring that anime fans in Singapore no longer have to go overseas to shop for the collectibles.

Expect to see a wide selection of model kits and action figures from Gundam Universe to add to your collection. You can also revisit your childhood trading cards hobby with Pokemon, Digimon, and One Piece card collections. Show your love for Nintendo with the Nintendo lifestyle products in store as well.

Other products available are blind boxes, gaming consoles, and toy figures from popular games like Roblox and Adopt Me. There are also Sunrise pops, selling miniature figurines from famous animes like Jujitsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, and Chainsaw Man if you’re looking to start a collection.
Visit Toys R Us’s first flagship store in Asia
VivoCity’s Toys”R”Us proves that it’s not just a fun place for kids, but adults as well. Even if you’re not planning to spend much, walking around the store is an activity in itself. The store is also wheelchair-friendly, so the grandparents can also join in the fun.
It helps that VivoCity is easily accessible, too. Those taking the MRT can alight at Harbourfront. If you’re going by bus, drop off at “Harbourfront Stn/Vivocity” bus stop. Take the escalator or life to Toys”R”Us, located on level 2.
