Surrey Hills Grocer

On top of its picturesque beaches and exotic wildlife, the Land Down Under is home to lush vineyards and farms. While travelling to Australia may still be months of planning away, you’ll be able to have an all-in-one Australian farm shopping and dining experience at Surrey Hills Grocer as soon as this weekend.

More new things to check out in Singapore:

All-in-one homegrown grocer, florist store and cafe

Nestled within Jurong’s Arena Country Club and just a 7-minute walk from Joo Koon MRT, Surrey Hills is a quaint spot that’ll give visitors an out-of-Singapore experience.

Spanning across a whopping 3,000 sqft, Surrey Hills Grocer stands out from the run-of-the-mill supermarket by offering patrons a cosy space with rustic elements and floor-to-ceiling windows.

The store boasts a wide selection of Australian-made products from exclusive brands you wouldn’t typically find at local grocers. Plus, they carry a farm-to-table concept where you’ll be able to purchase fresh produce from local urban farm Straits Agriculture.

Those looking to stock up their booze collection for the upcoming festive season can enjoy a selection of authentic Australian wines too. You’ll also be able to choose from up to 24 types of herb blends for your kitchen adventures from the dedicated Herbs and Spices corner.

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, now’s the time to shop for a beautiful flower bouquet for your partner. Luckily for you, Surrey Hills has got you covered with their in-house florist bar called The Flower Factory, which offers a range of seasonal botanical arrangements from Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.

If you’ve been shopping for hours on end and need to take a small breather, be sure to visit Surry Hills’ pet-friendly cafe which seats up to 38 guests and offers you an alfresco dining experience. You’ll be able to tuck into a range of Aussie dishes like the Tasmanian Salmon ($26) and refreshments like the Proud Mary Speciality Coffee (from $4)

They also have a small bakery that features a range of seasonal cakes and ice cream flavours from Creamier. Plus, they also serve dog-friendly ice cream for your furkids to munch on.

Stock up on groceries at Surrey Hills Grocer

It’s no secret that Singapore is home to plenty of grocery stores to stock up on essentials. But it’s rare to find one that solely specialises in fresh, organic produce. Thankfully, Surrey Hills Grocer will have you covered, all while letting you immerse yourself in its major Australian countryside vibes.

If you’ve got a busy schedule and don’t have time for a trip to the West, you’ll be able to pre-order your items online and opt for a drive-through pick-up or home delivery for an additional fee.
