This Hidden Toy Store In Tampines Has Affordable Toys, Books & Costumes For Kids From $1

T For Toys children’s store

It doesn’t matter if you were born in the 90s or 21st century – toys are always every child’s best friend. Other than popular store chains like Toys”R”Us, parents can now find affordable children’s toys and games at T For Toys, a warehouse store in Tampines with a wide range of affordable products.

What toys to get for kids based on age?

“They grow up so fast” – the sentiment doesn’t just apply to the way little ones outgrow cute baby clothes in the blink of an eye. The types of toys they play can also vary so vastly in just the span of a few years.

According to Naeyc, for infants under 6 months, the best toys include things that they can play pretend and build with, such as wooden cubes and puppets. Once they hit the age of 1, it’s all about picture books, puzzles, and colouring pages.

When their second year approaches, you’re looking at construction sets and rhythm instruments to develop basic motor skills. Pre-school era rolls around, and you’re now looking into basic interactive software and art equipment for your curious and increasingly active 3-6 year old .

Chances are, you’re not overjoyed at the idea of splurging on something so transient so the good news is affordable toys are easily accessible in Singapore, if you just know where to look.

Children’s toys from $1, located near IKEA Tampines

Easties will know the trio of IKEA Tampines, Courts Megastore, and Giant Hypermart, located along Tampines North. The area’s a one-stop-shop for groceries, tech and furniture. Now, you can also find kids’ games and toys just across the road at T For Toys.

Opened in 2021, the warehouse store is where folks can stock up their childrens’ playroom without breaking the bank.
