A Sunflower Sojourn Changi Airport
Singapore is known for being a green city, with our famous Gardens By The Bay and the exhibitions Flower Dome has to offer. However, if you’re looking for another picturesque flower spot, check out A Sunflower Sojourn, Changi Airport’s latest flower installation.
The vibrant sunflowers will be showcased now until 30th September 2024, with displays across all 4 terminals.
Admire enormous flower sculptures
Terminal 3.
With over 5,000 sunflowers and more than 10 species, A Sunflower Sojourn is the world’s largest sunflower display in an airport. You will find varieties such as Florenzas, Strawberry Blondes, and, of course, the classic Sunrise sunflower.

You won’t miss the towering sunflower structure at Terminal 3 that stands at 8m tall. It’s surrounded by 1,000 real sunflower stalks, so you can take a nice walk through this simulated garden or make it your next IG-worthy backdrop.
Another installation that will bring out the “Wow!” from you would be the 5m tall topiary structure, located in the Departure Hall of Terminal 2. The bright yellow structure rotates and definitely stands out amidst the crowd, with cute bee sculptures “buzzing” around it.
For the art lovers out there, a replica of Vincent Van Gogh’s sunflower painting is also displayed in the Departure Hall of Terminal 2, so you can have a close-up look at the piece without making a trip to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.

As you explore the sunflower fields, you will also spot educational booths blending in with the vibrant scenery. These booths contain information about the significance of sunflower seeds for food, agriculture and the production of sunflower oil. Some of them even have real product samples, so you can learn what manufacturing processes were done to create them.

If you want to take a break from floral walks, visit the Hub & Spoke Café where they are serving sunflower-themed food. Give yourself a sweet treat with their menu items such as the Sunflower Soft Serve Yoghurt ($5.50) and Sunflower Butter Toast ($3.60).

To make your visit a memorable one, you can also get your hands on cute Sunflower Sojourn merchandise at their pop-up at Terminal 3. There is something here for everyone, with bear plushies in sunflower costumes being sold at $35, and functional items like pens ($5), coasters ($9), pouches ($13), and acrylic magnets ($9).
