SG60 vouchers – how & where to use them
It has not been long at all since we were given some financial assistance from the government to aid with the rising costs of living in Singapore in the form of CDC and Climate Vouchers. We’re not complaining, and pretty soon, we’ll be receiving another set of vouchers in conjunction with Singapore’s 60th year of independence AKA SG60 Vouchers.
Unlike the previous vouchers which were meant to be shared among your entire household, every Singaporean aged 21 and above are entitled to these SG60 Vouchers. Here’s all you need to know about how to claim your $800 worth of vouchers, and where to use them at.
What are SG60 vouchers?
SG60 Vouchers are a part of the SG60 goodies that was announced during the Budget 2025 speech. Every Singaporean aged 21 to 59 can claim $600 worth of vouchers, while those aged 60 and above can claim $800.
The vouchers will be released in 2 waves. Seniors 60 and up can start redeeming them from 10am on 1st July 2025; meanwhile, the rest of the adults will have to wait till 22nd July 2025 before they can start claiming theirs.

If you’ve claimed your CDC or Climate Vouchers earlier this year, you pretty much know how to claim your SG60 Vouchers already, as the process is identical. All you have to do is head to the RedeemSG website, click on the SG60 Vouchers option and log in via your Singpass. For citizens who are unable to claim their vouchers digitally, they can visit their nearest Community Centres or Clubs for assistance.
You’ll be able to use half of your claimed vouchers at participating supermarkets, and the other half at participating heartland merchants and hawkers. Do note that SG60 Vouchers are valid till 31st December 2026, so try to spend them in bits and pieces from now till the end of next year.

As for where you can spend your vouchers at, just like your CDC vouchers, you can use them at any store that displays the teal CDC Voucher decal. You’d be surprised at the variety of stores that accept CDC Vouchers and consequently, SG60 Vouchers; these include various hawker stalls, medical and dental clinics, pet supply stores, and fashion and beauty shops.
You’ll also be able to use your vouchers to pay for groceries at most of the supermarkets across the island. This includes well-known chains like FairPrice, Prime Supermarket, Sheng Siong, Cold Storage, HAO Mart, and U Stars. Apart from these, you can also use your vouchers at smaller supermarkets around your neighbourhood; just look out for the yellow CDC Voucher decal.
