First Look At The Reopened Pokémon Center Singapore – New Installations & Special Edition Merch

Pokémon Center Singapore reopening at Jewel Changi Airport

Pokémon fans on the Little Red Dot were no doubt dismayed when news of the Pokémon Center Singapore store’s temporary closure broke in April this year. Thankfully, the wait is over, as its renovation works are finally completed and it’ll be making its much-anticipated comeback on 1st July 2026.

From new installations, including an updated symbol Pokémon, to special edition merch that you can only get at the revamped store, here’s all you need to know before heading down.

When does the store reopen & how can I visit?

Let’s get the nitty-gritty details out of the way first. The store will officially reopen on 1st July 2026, on a Wednesday. But before you apply for annual leave, take note that entry to the store will be restricted during its first 5 days of reopening, from 1st-5th July 2026.

To manage crowds, admission will be split into 2 methods: Store Visit Application and Same-day Queue Entry Tickets.

Store Visit Application

Store Visit Applications for advanced spots closed on 2nd June 2026, with results announced from 4th June 2026. Wif you’re one of the few successful applicants, you can enter the store between 10am and 1pm. Each successful applicant can also bring 1 guest, meaning a maximum of 2 people per entry.

Didn’t get selected? You can still see whether Lady Luck is on your side by heading down to the store for general admission. Same-day queue tickets will be distributed on-site from 8.30am daily, while slots last, and entry will be from 1pm onwards.

What to expect at the newly refreshed store?

New symbol Pokémon Solgaleo & revamped store interior

Solgaleo

The first thing you’ll notice at the entrance is a new display of the store’s new symbol Pokémon, the legendary Pokémon Solgaleo. Hailing from the sunny Alola region, it’s definitely an apt choice to represent Singapore’s store, being an emissary of the sun and all.

The regal beast stands proudly alongside an adorable Pikachu figure, while the screen behind sports a digital background that draws inspiration from Tanjong Katong’s colourful shophouses. We could also tell that a lot of thought was poured into deciding which Pokémon to populate the backdrop with.

New logo

The flittering Vivillon and Lurantis looking out the window are a nod to Singapore’s moniker of Garden City, while the stickler for cleanliness that is Minccino reflects the country’s spotless reputation for its litter-free streets.

To go along with its new Pokémon symbol and refreshed facade, the store also has an updated logo, which means we’re waving goodbye to the old one fronted by Lapras, Pikachu, and Celebi. As such, we’re also receiving a new special edition Pokémon Center Singapore Logo Pin ($10)  that’s only available on the Little Red Dot.

Inside, the store’s interior has been given a new lease of life and imbued with even more references to Singapore’s vibrant culture.

New figures

For starters, perched atop a shelf is the trio of Wattrel, Munchlax, and Flareon sharing a meal consisting of berries – very in line with the massive foodie culture we have right here in Singapore. The wallpaper behind the figures also taps into Peranakan heritage, as they mimic the beautiful, intricate tiles the ethnic group is known for.

Pokedex

Folks who work in the CBD, you’ll fit in at the store’s city-themed wall. This part of the store is hued in no-nonsense black that’s reminiscent of the concrete jungle that is Singapore, but still retains the whimsy of the world of Pokémon with the impressive array of plushies on its shelves.

Pokedex

There’s also an interactive, touch-screen-operated Pokédex here that details everything about your favourite Pokémon, down to their height and weight. A Jolteon figure lounges nearby, perhaps knackered from keeping the device constantly powered with its electricity.

Ocean-themed area

Another Eeveelution can be found towards the back of the store, in an ocean-inspired event space. Here resides a Vaporeon figure, whose mermaid-like tail evokes major Merlion vibes. There are tables and chairs set up here to host game events, but we foresee it being filled with weary parents taking a breather while their kids are having a blast at the nearby Pokémon Mezastar cabinets.

Exclusive merchandise

To celebrate its grand reopening, there’ll be a range of Singapore-themed merchandise. These can only be bought at Pokémon Center Singapore, and will be released in 2 waves.

Merch

The 1st drop will feature 12 exclusive items available from reopening day onwards, such as plushies of Pikachu with Durian ($34) and Solgaleo & Pikachu ($70).  Along with the special edition Logo Pin, other knick-knacks you can pick up include Strap Keychains ($20), Magnets ($14), and even a Kopi Cup & Saucer Set ($35) to drink your daily brew out of.

Metal Plate

Meanwhile, the Metal Plate ($198) and Post Card set ($8) make for great gifts for friends and family visiting from overseas, and the little ones are sure to appreciate the Sticker sets ($8) and A4 Clear Folder ($4).

And that’s just the beginning. A 2nd collection is set to launch on 7th August 2026, featuring even more locally-inspired collectibles like T-Shirts (from $29), Pikachu Bag Charms ($23), Pouches, and Tote Bags ($48). Do note that purchase limits apply to certain items, so do keep an eye out for signs stating so before you check out.

Will there be Pokémon TCG products sold at the new Pokémon Center Singapore?

Now to address the elephant in the room. No, there will not be any Pokémon TCG products stocked at the new Pokémon Center Singapore, at least for its opening week from 1st to 5th July 2026. We’ve asked the retail staff, and they informed us that the store will only be stocking TCG products after that.

Just like how its predecessor operated, there’s no guarantee when TCG products will be on shelves, as they’ll only be available during restocks that occur randomly. Your best bet is to look out for product restocks via social media, but even then, TCG products, especially when sold at MSRP, tend to get snapped up pretty quickly.

Pokémon fans, it’s time to prepare for the reopening

As with anything Pokémon-related, expect to brave the crowds to catch a glimpse of the newly revamped Pokémon Center Singapore. But, with the crowd control implementations in place, perhaps it won’t be too bad. Then again, not many Singaporeans can resist the allure of durian, much less the coveted plushies of Pikachu holding a durian; fingers crossed these don’t get scalped too.
