ShopeePay is a digital wallet inside the Shopee app that you can use for more than just paying for online orders. Besides transactions on Shopee, it can also be used for offline payments at local merchants that accept ShopeePay, QR-based payments at selected overseas merchants, as well as for sending money to other ShopeePay users, receiving funds, and withdrawing money to your bank account.
When you scan and pay with ShopeePay, you’re able to fund your payment through your ShopeePay wallet balance, credit and debit cards at selected merchants and more – giving you lots of convenience and flexibility.
Access it directly from the Shopee app homepage by tapping your ShopeePay balance, or head to the Me tab and select ShopeePay there.
Then there are Shopee Coins, which are basically reward points. You can earn them through purchases, activities, and other tasks in the app, and use them to offset your spending later. For every 100 Shopee Coins, that’s S$1 in value.
These coins aren’t limited to online use either – you can use them when you’re out and about, paying through ShopeePay at a wide range of merchants, including F&B stores, lifestyle brands, and over 12,000 hawkers islandwide. Under 25? Earn 5% coins cashback when you pay offline

Now for the main perk. If you’re under 25 and have a registered ShopeePay Plus account, you can get 5% Shopee Coins cashback every time you pay offline with ShopeePay at participating merchants in Singapore.
That means your everyday spending can actually give you something back. The cashback is capped at 500 coins per transaction, up to 5 transactions a day.
Use ShopeePay at everyday places like Sheng Siong & hawker stalls
The nice thing about this isn’t just the cashback – it’s that ShopeePay can be used at places you probably already spend at anyway. Here’s how to use it:
- Look out for the NETS SGQR or ShopeePay logo.
- Scan the merchant QR code or show your payment code when you pay.
- If you’re 24 and below, you’ll get 5% coins cashback with a 500-coin cap per transaction. Everyone else can still earn 1% coins cashback, capped at 300 coins per transaction.
