Mayhem is Lady Gaga’s 7th studio album, which the singer released a couple days ago on 7th March. While we don’t have the full setlist for the tour just yet, it’s pretty safe to say that we can anticipate hearing some of the album’s hit tracks live, including viral earworms like Die With A Smile featuring Bruno Mars, and energetic pop track Abracadabra, which have already been making their rounds on social media.

How to secure tickets for the Lady Gaga Mayhem tour

If last year’s Eras Tour and Coldplay mayhem taught us anything, it’s that securing concert tickets, especially at big venues like the National Stadium, is no easy feat. First, there’s the stress of beating thousands of fellow fans in the ticketing queue, then the ever-prevalent issue of dealing with scalpers.

Well, if you’re going to try your luck at getting Lady Gaga tickets next weekend, we’ve got a couple of tips for you.

First and foremost, it’s important to remember that queue numbers are randomised, so joining the queue an hour before sales start doesn’t necessarily place you at any advantage. Instead, we’d recommend joining the queue on multiple devices for a better shot at getting different – and hopefully good – queue numbers. Do note that it’s common for the holding page to be laggy at times, but don’t hit refresh, or you’ll instantly be sent all the way to the back of the line.

And for those of us who are gonna be caught up at work or school during ticketing dates, there’s also the option of acquiring “help-to-buy” services, which you can find on social media and Carousell. Of course, these premium services come at an extra cost of up to $50 per ticket.

If all these tips sound a tad overwhelming to you, we recommend checking out our concert guide for a more in-depth explanation on how to navigate concerts.

Things to know when attending the Lady Gaga in Singapore concert

For a smooth concert day experience, here are a couple of things to take note before you show up all glammed up at the National Stadium.

Getting to the National Stadium

As with any sold-out concert at the National Stadium, you can expect things to get a little hectic – it is the Mayhem tour after all – when trying to get to your seats. As such, you’ll want to plan out your routes ahead of time so you won’t be left scrambling to get into the concert venue.

Above is a handy map of the National Stadium’s grounds, along with information on where each gate is located.

As for getting to the National Stadium itself, the recommended mode of transport is to either take the MRT or public bus. If you’re taking the train, it should be pretty straightforward. Simply alight at Stadium MRT station on the Circle Line; it exits directly into Singapore Sports Hub. For those taking the bus, hop on bus no. 10, 14, 16, 70, 70A, 70M, 196 or 196A and alight at the Natl Stadium bus stop (stop ID: 80219).

If you decide to drive or ride in instead, you can park your vehicle at any one of Singapore Sports Hub’s 7 carparks. Carparks A, B, C, D, and E are the closest ones to the National Stadium, and the parking charges are $0.65/30 minutes. Since parking space is limited, it’s recommended that you take the public transport instead for a fuss-free concert experience.

Prohibited items

You’ll want to pack lightly when coming down for the Lady Gaga in Singapore concert. Not only will this ensure speedy security checks, there is also a list of prohibited items that you can’t bring into the concert venue; these include:

  • All cameras (including digital, video, polaroid and film)
  • All glassware and glass bottles
  • Flags, placards and banners with offensive slogans, political messages or advertisements
  • Bags exceeding 35cm x 20cm x 30cm
  • Fan boards exceeding A3 size (42cm x 29.7cm)
  • Soft toys exceeding A4 size (21cm x 29.7cm)
  • Binoculars exceeding A5 size (14.8cm x 21cm)

LockersImage credit: Singapore Sports Hub

Concert-goers who’ve come bagless can waltz straight into the National Stadium via an express queue. If you can’t help but bring your barang barang to the concert, Singapore Sports Hub has locker rental services (from $2/2 hours) that can help take the load off your shoulders, literally, till it’s time to head home.

Retrieve your digital tickets ahead of time

In case you don’t know, the box office at the National Stadium does not print physical copies of your tickets. As such, log in to your Ticketmaster account to retrieve your digital tickets before you show up for the concert, by activating your global credentials on your account. More on how to do so can be found on the Ticketmaster website.

Free Grab post-concert shuttle bus

After a long day singing along to Lady Gaga’s greatest hits, you’ll most probably be all knackered and dreading the commute home once the concert high dies down. Thankfully, Grab has come to the rescue, by providing a free post-concert shuttle bus.

Just make your way to Pick-Up Point A which can be found near Gate 14, and keep an eye out for any signage pointing towards said shuttle buses. Easties and Westies are in luck, as these buses are bound for Jurong East and Tampines MRT stations. Keep in mind that seats are limited and are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
