Carnival By The Straits 2023
The mention of “yacht club” is likely to conjure the image of wealthy folks frolicking on their million-dollar vessels, something the average Singaporean wouldn’t be able to experience. Well, the SAF Yacht Club is an activity site that’s much more accessible. And with the return of Carnival By The Straits, you’ll get to spend a day at sea without a Crazy Rich Asians budget.
Here’s what you can expect from the event taking place on Saturday, 10th June 2023 from 10am-5pm.
Water sport rides like jet skis, ski tubes & banana boats for $10 each
Fret not if you don’t have expertise operating a jet ski, there’ll be trained attendants onsite to serve up the thrills and spills.

If you love getting your splash on and cooling off from the SG heat, the activity line-up at Carnival By The Straits 2023 will be right up your alley. Taking full advantage of the coastal location, there’ll be a spate of water sports for both young and old to take on.
Each ski tube seats up to 3 pax, spelling a wet and wild time for couples, friend groups, and families alike.

Whichever you choose, it will cost $10 per ride. Options include banana boats, ski tubes, jet skis, and even the rare opportunity to experience a RHIB boat ride.

It stands for Rigid-Hulled Inflatable Boat, and is a high-speed and heavy-duty mode of transport used in the military for actual rescue ops. Hop aboard if you have dreams of joining the navy, or if you just wish to feel the adrenaline rush of embarking on a G.I. Joe-esque crime-fighting mission.
Activities on dry land such as carnival games & archery
The fun doesn’t have to end once you’re back on shore. Activity stations will be set up around the premises, and you can try your hand at carnival games from $2 each or $6 for a go at archery.

Carnival classics like the Ring Toss, Bean Bag Throw, and Can Knock-Down will test your hand-eye coordination skills. These kid-friendly games also come with prizes like stationery sets and the ever-popular Pop-It fidget toy, so your little one will have a lovely souvenir to remember the day by.
With rubber-tip arrows, the archery station will be a safe way to test your marksman/markswoman prowess.

If you’re feeling peckish in between activities, there’ll be plenty of F&B options available. Small businesses will be setting up booths to peddle their wares, which makes it a great opportunity for carnivalgoers to #supportlocal as well.

You can also expect to pick up lovingly handcrafted merch at the booth zone. Last year’s carnival saw creations like tie-dye shirts and resin keychains with live engraving. Who knows what treasures will await attendees this year?
Get early bird tickets from now till 13th May
Carnival tickets are now available at $25/set, and the value can be used on all water sports and activity stations. So basically, your tickets will serve as credits for everything chargeable, except for the F&B and retail booths.
