Project Green at CapitaLand Malls
We heard you wanted to actually save the ocean instead of just flaunting a graphic tee with the phrase save the ocean around. So, we’re here to throw you a suggestion to help you reach your green goal. Two words: Project Green.
Kicking off at 4 CapitaLand malls across the island, this initiative features sustainable showcases, exhibitions, and workshops for you to show off your greenness. Plus, get STAR$® loyalty points when you bring reusable bags and lunch boxes for your shopping and takeouts.
Cash rebates & store discounts
Leave those plastic bags and food containers in 2022. This year is all about reusables and recyclables that are good for the Earth and your wallet.
Flash your receipts & reusables at the customer service counter to earn STAR$® which can be used to redeem rewards via the CapitaStar app.
From now till 1st May, show up at either Bugis Junction, Bugis+ or Funan with a reusable bag and spend $80 in a single receipt, and you shall get 5,000 STAR$®. For an extra 500 STAR$®, bring your lil lunch box or tumbler to use for takeouts at any F&B outlet. Just make sure the bill is at least $8.*
You’ll also get a variety of deals across the participating malls from now till 7th May. Some standouts include a free patty with every purchase of the Quick Greens Burger at Funan, $98 non-ammonia hair colouring at VS Beauty Bar inside Bugis+, and 15% off Rubberwood Furniture at MUJI Plaza Singapura.
*Terms and conditions apply.
Sustainable showcase, exhibition & workshops
Sew your own roll-up tote with Bernina at Funan.
A slew of eco-friendly product showcases, exhibitions, and workshops are set to kick off at Bugis Junction, Funan, and Plaza Singapura. Since you love shopping and also the environment, you can have both.
DIY coasters using waste materials at Chokmah inside Funan.
At Funan, from now till 12th April, expect to see eco backpacks from Hershel, sustainable slip-ons from TOMS, and natural air-purifying plants from The Green Capsule. See how it’s entirely possible to look good, feel good, and do good all at the same time.
After that, hit up the workshops to make coasters from waste materials, sew a roll-up tote, and grow a plant in unwanted cups. They will be happening from now till 1st May.
The Bugis Junction showcase will be happening at the Malay Street Atrium.

Taking place at Bugis Junction from 14th April to 1st May, you’ll find a selection of footwear made from recycled materials from Anothersole, Havaianas, Teva, and Sperry on display. There’ll also be racks of second-hand clothing from Refash, and experts from myhalo who can share more about e-waste.

Learn how to repurpose your old clothes and turn them into something new at the Fashion Upcycling Workshop hosted by Refash. By upcycling, recycling and reusing, you’ll be doing yourself and Mother Earth a favour by minimising your garbage footprint.
