Luxurious hotel brunches

Philosophy of life: good food, good mood. There’s no better way to get me going in the morning than with a hearty meal awakening my senses. But while we all love our cafe-hopping adventures, doing so for many weeks in succession can get monotonous – sometimes you just hunger for more, and the usual waffles and eggs ben don’t cut it.

Craving a more luxurious change away from the cafe scene? Take your brunching up a notch and #treatyoself to one – or more – of these atas hotel buffets:

1. Sunday Vintage Brunch at Equinox Restaurant, Swissôtel The Stamford

Equinox Restaurant at Swissôtel The Stamford will have you torn between eyeing your brunch loot and the spectacular floor-to-ceiling view of Singapore’s skyline. Newly launched in September this year, their Sunday Vintage Brunch serves a fresh seafood spread, including varieties of sashimi from tuna, salmon, hokkigai, and hamachi, and tako.

Meat lovers can also look forward to a live carving station full of succulent roasts. You’ll be dying to sink your teeth into that tender Roasted Rib Angus Beef in Red Wine and Béarnaise!

2. SuperBrunch at Ritz-Carlton Millenia

A highly exclusive event that rolls around only twice a year, SuperBrunch at Ritz-Carlton Millenia is easily THE most opulent brunch buffet in Singapore. Exorbitantly priced from $288 to over $460 depending on your wine option, you’d better eat your weight’s worth to make it count – although we’re sure you’ll have no problems with that, judging from the selection of epic proportions.

SuperBrunch sure is worthy of its name. From a 7-metre seafood table to 130 cheeses, and torched-on-the-spot salmon sushi, options literally stretch from end to end. Starting from Chihuly Lounge to Colony restaurant, the entire hotel lobby basically transforms into food heaven. Don’t despair if you’ve missed the last one in October. Plenty of time to save up for next year!

Projecting old-school New York charm is Manhattan, an upscale bar at Regent Hotel. Come Sunday mornings, the watering hole makes space for a casual but elegant Cocktail Brunch with 5 food stations and – of course – free-flow cocktails.

Head over to the Bloody Mary station to customise your desired version of the spice bomb – pick your poison of gin, vodka, or rum, and top it off with wacky garnishings like bacon and quail’s egg!

The spread can get overwhelming, but dive straight in for the wine-infused cheese – the Purple Moon Cheddar from the buffet’s cheese station is the best of two worlds rolled into one – with its vivid purple hue, a result of being soaked in Cabernet.
